Article explaining release and how it can work for you Link to Download The site is under SERIOUS heavy traffic so you might have to keep checking back to see if their server comes back up. It's worth it to mention that CS2 is no longer supported by adobe, such as drivers and updates, so it may have trouble running on newer operating systems and computers. There's also a new program making the rounds is Fire Alpaca (try not to laugh). I haven't used anything other than CS 3, 4, and 5 myself, but I've seen some artists' work with it and it's a powerful little program! Link Tree |

FireAlpaca is a brilliant program; there's a lot less tools compared to PS and it's a bit difficult to get used to at first, but after that, it's brilliant. It's a lot easier to use for actual colouring than PS imo. However, thank you for posting the link; I'd been looking for this for a while. :3 |

I've used CS2 before and I almost liked it better than CS5 which I use now. |

I don't know if it's true, but I read somewhere that the free CS2 release was a mistake lol |

I downloaded CS2 for free from this site over a year ago. I don't use it a lot cuz I'm still partial to my Paint Shop Pro which I've had for years and years and it's hard to change over XD, but I haven't had any problems with the program thus far! |

I wouldn't be surprised considering how uh.... Tight. Adobe is with their money. However it was released... Almost 2 years ago now. They may have removed it. Β Meanwhile Fire Alpaca is still free and halway decent, though more for digital painting than for photomanipulation. Though I suppose someone could play with it more than I have. Link Tree |
