Alright, I figured I'd make an official thread to get some information out there and to help keep track of who needs what done.
Oop, Mango's got a new project again. What now? I'm a layout doctor! With the new HTML purifier, every single code on HP created before November 3, 2019 is officially broken and needs to get fixed - and I'm willing to help!
Ok, I can dig it. How much will it cost? Free! You already bought your code, I don't believe you should pay again to have it work with an official HP update.
Awesome! I have 725,633 layouts. Can you fix them all? .... Yes xD But it'll be a process - please be patient! If you have 5+ layouts that you'd like to have fixed, please rank them in the order you'd like them to be completed (high priority to low priority), and I'll chip away at them in that order.
... So do I have to wait for that person up there to get their 725,633 layouts fixed before you do my one? Nope! My current plan is that everyone on my list has at least one working layout as soon as possible. That said, I'm fixing the layouts on my list in no particular order (aside from the priority ranking mentioned above), so it doesn't really matter if you messaged me first or last, or if you have 1 or 25 layouts. Just get your name on the list and I'll get to you when I can!
Layout Doctor! My favorite layout is broken! But it was coded by someone who isn't you. Can you fix it?! I can definitely give it a shot! Please be aware that layouts coded by someone else are unfamiliar to me, and it will definitely take me longer to work through their coding and make it Purifier-ready. I would certainly prefer it if you can attempt to contact the original coder first, and if there's no response you can send it to me.
This is just what I need! So how do we do this? There are two options here. 1. The easiest and quickest method is to send me logins to accounts with your layouts on them. This way, I can work with any issues live, we don't have to deal with the complicated process of sending two separate code parts for one layout, and I can power through multiple layouts quickly instead of having to copy, paste, fix, and send one code at a time on one of my spares. You can create a spreadsheet on [ Google Sheets ] or send them to me in the message itself. I can provide references from other players I've fixed layouts for using this method. - OR - 2. If you're uncomfortable with sending me logins (I can totally understand that), then you can send me the codes you want me to fix. You need to click the "View HTML Pre-HTML Purifier" link above the HTML box and copy the code there, then go to a site like [ ControlC.com ] to save the code. Copy the link and send it to me! You need to do this for every code you'd like to have fixed.
Can we see a list of your current patients? Yes! Keep track of how many layouts are on my list, the number I've completed, and the number I have left to do by checking the [ Patient List ] spreadsheet!
