It's time to tell us your favorite thing and least favorite thing about Christmas! Participating will earn you 1mil HPD, but you have to get your post in by 12:50 am on Dec. 16!

My favorite thing: Everybody's a little bit nicer this time of year!
My least favorite thing: Traffic! Everybody's home for the holidays, squirts are on break from school, college kids are home between terms, everybody's shopping and spending time together and going places - and the traffic is crazy in California! ... And I drive a manual xD

My favorite thing: Watching my kids experience the holidays. Their whole face light up as they see Santa, Lights, experience the season, and as they open presents on the actual day of. It is freaking amazing and it is so much better than me actually getting anything for Christmas. Today we drove around to one road that was complete Christmas lights, and then two houses that due full shows (4-5 songs each) and just watching their amazingment was just.... amazing.

My least favorite thing: Traffic and too many people in one place.

My favourite thing is it's one day I'm guaranteed to spend time with my sister, her hubby and kids. We go round, play games, eat amazing food and have a lovely time. She's very busy working now so dont see her as often as I used to.

What I hate is how I'm expected to get gifts for everyone. One year I was low in funds so got 5 nieces something but not  my sis as I knew my mum got her so much stuff. I get a message, you forgot about x. I ended up wrapping my bottle of booze and saying oh here it is, it rolled out of the bag. I no longer get her anything and am sad as we used to be close but she is a taker and during my year of extreme illness did not once ask how I was, would walk into my mums house if I was there and ignore me so I am done.

Sorry guys, that was rather debbie downer. Anyway traffic doesn't change much here plus I still have my other truly, amazing, wonderful sister!!!

My favorite thing about Christmas is buying gifts for everyone and then watching them open them on Christmas day especially my husband and ,for the first time this year, my 2 year old son because he is old enough this year to open his gifts himself and stay interested. He did for his birthday at least. He was too young to really get into it and open his gifts last year. I had to do it for him.

My least favorite part is dealing with all the drama my mother brings around this time of year with my not wanting to celebrate with her new boy toy because I don't eant him in mine or my son's life. As well as all the drama she brings with trying to plan our Christmas family gathering around my in-laws family gathering.

My favorite thing: I love how much it brings families together. Its just an extra excuse to bake cookies and watch our favorite holiday movies and just enjoy time together. We love to build a fire and drink hot chocolate and just hang out together. My sisters daughter will be having her first Christmas this year and I cannot wait to share it with her! You generally get time off of work too which is an added bonus :)

My least favorite thing: My least favorite is peoples obsessions with GIFTS. ughhhhh. To me the gifts are fun sure but who really needs them? Its just extra stuff and it can really put financial strain on people to try and get gifts for everyone. I think it almost ruins the holiday spirit because everyone is stressed trying to figure out what to give and how much they can spend, etc.

My favorite thing about Christmas is how festive everything is. Decorations and lights everywhere! Christmas cookies, trees, omg, I love it.

My least favorite thing is how everyone and their mother throws a Christmas party, and may the Lord forgive you if you try and say no, or get out of it. Everyone gets so offended. Sorry I have my own family and a life! :P

My favorite thing is all the holiday glitter and glam. My least favorite is the rude clients at work this time of year :( it's like they come out of the woodwork...

my favorite thing about Christmas is some of the people seem happier, kinder, and all around things seem brighter, cleaner, than the rest of the year. Also Christmas movies that show the small towns and the magic of Christmas is every where.

least favorite is traffic, rude sales people, and the cost of items I want to buy for gifts

My favorite thing about Christmas is all the decorations! Whether it's decorating my home or seeing all the outdoor decorations when I'm driving, it's definitely my favorite part!

My least favorite thing about Christmas is the fact that all of my family is so spread out across the US (we're talking MA, NH, FL, MI, TX, OH, and SC lol). I don't have a traditional family gathering of any kind. Despite all the headaches that can come from those gatherings, I kind of miss them. The holidays don't feel the same without it.

My favorite thing is sitting around the fireplace with my dogs reading a book and also seeing my wife get all excited over the presents I got her 💕

My least favorite thing is being forced to buy presents for extended family members or friends out of obligation, not because I want to. 

My favourite thing: my kids, husband and family faces when they open the presents I got them! 

My least favourite thing: the washing up after christmas dinner xD

My favourite thing is sitting down to eat the Crimbo dinner I made for my bestie and myself.

Least favourite thing is I don't enjoy it as I used to. It's just another day for me, but with "special" dinner.

Favourite: The traditions. Seeing family, the food, I live for the traditions. 

Least Favourite: I agree...traffic. Even just coming home from work now takes longer and is more exhausting!

My favorite part is the look on my child's face wehne she opens all her gifts.

What I love: I get to see my younger brother (he's 8) a lot more. I'm a teacher so our Thanksgiving/Christmas breaks usually line up and I can go home and spend time with him. I moved 45 minutes away after college so it can be hard to see him. Today we spent 2 hours putting up and decorating the Christmas tree so that was cool!

What I hate: Going to any store lol. I feel like even the grocery store is packed with a hundred extra people around this time of year. I went to Aldi's today and it was packed when it usually isn't.
