So I started Cane Corsos as I love the breed and own a cane corso cross plus there wasn't any active breeders. Now im debating on stopping all together. I'm on gen 3.

I have a lot of breeds for a lot of different reasons.

I guess when debating stopping you have to figure out why you started them, if you still enjoy them, and if you want to keep them going. Will you regret it down the road if you stop now?

I just sold off a few breeds, but none of the ones that have a personal connection like you have to your Cane Corsos. Are you still the sole breeder?

I have been in your boat countless times, the breeds that I do truly love always end up getting revived even if I think at first I'm not going to do them but sometimes it does take a little break to see if you'll miss them or not. However the only difference for me is that I had been returning from a hiatus when I ran into this so for you I'd say ask yourself if you take a break and then decide that you want to start up again, can you afford to do a retirement breeding? I've considered dropping some breeds right now, but I can't really afford retirement breedings for them in the future so I've decided to just keep them going on the sidelines but not put a lot of attention into them in the process. One thing I do regret when return from a hiatus and don't start up one of those breeds is that I could be so much farther along in my generations if I had (but hey, that's just me).

Hopefully this helped you some?
