Joel and I are planning our summer vacation, and as always, we are going back to the mountains, haha.Β I've been to WY and MT many times, but never up that far north in MT, and I've also been to SD a few times, but I've never been to CO! So for those of you who have been to those areas before or who live there, are there any things that you suggest we see/do? We love off the beaten path things, and nature, hiking, geocaching, hot springs, and food, haha. So, give me suggestions! We definitely love the National Parks too! So any suggestions for things to see in the parks in those states would be good as well! I've been to Yellowstone a few times, but usually I just see the "regular" things like Old Faithful, so any hidden gems would be fun! |

MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK - Colorado. Β There's wild horses there! It was an experience I'll never forget. It's also an archaeological site. There's a whole ancient city built into the cliffs. Β Then there's Durango, Colorado. Gorgeous little tourist trap town. Downtown still has this very old west feel, lots of good walking and shopping, and it's on the river where you can go white water rafting. I loved it! Link Tree |

Chataqua is also a great place in Colorado--plus you can visit the CU Boulder campus (if you're into that sort of thing: the campus and architecture is beautiful). Estes is another suggestion I would make... Oh! And coming to hang out with me and Gator ;D |
