Hey everyone!

One of the things that players frequently mention to us in surveys and suggestions (and that we have also talked about in the past) is to add things like de-ages and gender changes to the store so that we wouldn't have to do it through the sales account and things could be available more often!

So we were wondering if this was something people would be interested in?

We were thinking we could offer them for credits (or maybe some other creative name?) and then you could buy a certain number of credits for USD, and then spend those on these things, or also transfer them to other players (so it could potentially add more value to services, etc.), and if we had a special currency it would give us somethign else to offer as prizes in contests and chat parties! (Not to mention it would mean more income for HP, which means more updates and new things!)

Another idea was that in addition to a special currency price to maybe offer them for a high HPD price and/or be able to trade in your achievement points/referral points/player points for them.

Right now the plans are very rough, but we're just thinking of new ways to update the game, keep things interesting, and make things more convenient for the players.

Some of the items we were thinking of offering are:

-Gender change

-Breed change (on animals not yet bred)

-De-age

-Age forward

-Retirement breeding

-Adding an EXTRA extra 10 shows.

-Extra show pass (create an extra public horse and public dog show this week)

-Extra private show pass (same idea as extra show pass, but with private shows)

-Pick the gender of a foal

-Guarantee twins in a breeding

So, thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

I thought de-aging meant going back to 3, not back a year. If it's just back a year, then it actually does seem like a good idea - however I agree with the "one per horse" idea as well.

Yes Zac, deaging is just taking ONE year back. For example - If a horse is 21 years, they could make it 20yrs to get one more final breeding on that stallion. Far as I know - Horse's can't be de-aged to 3 O_o  But it'd be nice, then we could add even more points hahaha

I agree with everyone else that I love this idea. I would love to do a retirement breeding to link my new lines to my old but cannot afford to do it.

There was another sim game I used to play, CE, that did something like the credit idea. This has my thumbs up.

Ah, yes I was under the impression that de-aging was basically resetting the horse's age. My mistake!

I like these ideas...I do think you should still only be able to de-age once..maybe twice...but any more than that its like cheating!

I dont know about the whole twin deal though.. I mean most people breed 3 times for 2 back-ups and a final..Which I guess then they could just breed twice and get the same amount, but I wouldnt "buy" this feature.

Also, I wouldnt trade my player points or acheivements for anything, I know theyre use-less for the most part, but if I were to trade them, then it would be like im starting all over again..ya know?! Granted if I had a billion  player points like *cough* adranth *cough* then id be all for it, but since I dont, I wouldnt!

Well, if we did achievement points you wouldn't lose the achievements themselves, but each person gets 1 point for each achievement, so you'd only lose that count. but they'd all still be displayed on your page.

I love these ideas. :] I think it's a good plan.
Maybe one could buy the ability of getting a mass vet/mass groom or shoe feature, like massfeeding... I reckon that'd be awesome. xD -has just vetted and shoed 40 horses-

As long as this doesn't turn out like Horseland, I'm for everything. The real cash stuff stinks since I'm on a budget with no extra monies for HP. At this point I have a bunch of accounts where I'm trying to earn hpd just to keep one account upgraded. I would love to see a limit put on upgrade auctions. 

I agree with everything that has been posted so far.  What about the ability to purchase points for an animal?  There should of course be a max limit allowed to be added to an animal.

I love this idea. I have played other games with credits offered and special features that can be purchased with credits and it is great! Maybe call them horseshoes?

maybe she meant a limit of how much they can cost? 

I likey this. especially if we can buy these points from other players, because i never had RLD to spend on HP. :3

edit: this is me officially suggesting naming the credits carrots patch dollars and the cash shop the carrot patch, haha. :]
