I've been thinking about making a cooking website because I cook and bake all the time and am always getting and trying new recipes, etc. And I see people tell me all the time they don't know how to cook/what to make.

So I thought I'd share my recipes and stuff and make it, you know, reasonable to make. Because I'm not super-culinary-woman with a huge test kitchen and all day to spend making food and you probably aren't either. In fact, if you're like me you have to get it all done in an hour in a small, badly lit, out-of-date apartment kitchen. And I think everyone should be able to make good food at home.

But, not to worry, I make fancy stuff too. Mousses and pies and stuff.

I'm planning to cover recipes, things you should always have on hand (hardware and ingredients) and how-to-do certain things that some people might not know (separating eggs, coring apples, whipping heavy cream, etc.). Thoughts?

Also wanted to mention that I'm planning to type up my recipes anyway for easy access, so this won't be much extra effort to do, haha. It'd be a good side project for when Im stressed and need to do something else, haha.

I think that's a great idea! I read on a blog the other day, that there are 2 topics to base your website from that are guaranteed great traffic, food and money. So you could even add a blog to this site, and make some extra cash with adds and such (:
