My Rescue Farm - Meet the pets!

I have been breeding goats for 18 years, but in no way do I make a profit. My farm is a private rescue center, taking in abused animals that are neglected or left to die and give them a second chance at life. All animals here, domestic and feral, may roam as they please as domesticated are safely penned and monitored 24/7. I provide the best care possible, and you can meet them below:
Misty - Misty (aka Flint Oak Mystery) is a fleabitten Paso Fino mare nearly in her 30's. She was rescued by my mom, due to her abusive owners. She was not well cared for and she was not properly taught basic groundwork. They forced her into trailers, tied her to a weak post and sprayed cokd water on her at full blast (She wasn't ever bathed and not used to it. This was by force. This poor yearling was dragging the post and nearly hurt herself). She was whipped when she did something they didn't like and was very scared of people. Her owners didn't want her, they found her 'useless' and 'unteachable'. Looking back from that day, Misty has been ridden a lot till her joints started to act up at old age. She is practically bulletproof and will do anything you ask of her. She is old and continuing to live on, we give her every care possible and she's very happy.
Goats - I have raised more goats then I can even describe so I will be brief. A lot of our does were purchased from these "great show farms", but the animals were in horrific conditions. They were skinny and wormy, their feet way overgrown so some couldn't even walk, never groomed and starving. Baby does who weren't full adults were stunted in growth and were in smal pens so they were fought with. Completely disgusted by the care of these owners, I purchased these animals quickly. The Humane Society came to my farm due to the animals I had rescued being neglected. The animals were already in better conditions, we placed 5 does in a large pen (Not 10 in a small), that were the same age. The buck was penned alone, the older does in a huge pasture and babies in medium kidding pens. All pens have shelter, a porch, toys and shade plus were fed. The goats were in much better health and unrecognizable from how they started. Sadly a few passed away from old age or from the inevitable despite our attempts. However, some of the girls are still here or are thriving in their new homes where they're loved like mine are here.
Cats - I have owned 3 cats in my few years. My very first cat was a calico stray named Ninja. Her owners neglected her and she was starving, she was also pregnant at the time, and scared to death of people. I bonded with her and soon Ninja became very loyal to me, she was my barn cat who was free to come and go as she wished. In spring, she delivered three baby boys, but unfortunately one passed away from serious birth defects. A few weeks later Ninja passed away due to a gruesome attack that left her unsavable. Her two kittens, Tubby & Boots, were quickly taken under my wing. The boys are now almost 4yrs and at loving adults who are healthy. I have neutered them and vaccinated them so they're my indoor companions.
