Hello! The only time I create posts in the forums is when I am getting tired or researching things and just want answers, so here I am again!

Have any of you tried the Curly Girl Method? In high school I had really pretty wavy hair. Like beach waves, but the natural kind, not the heat induced curling iron kind. I donated my hair my senior year, and as it grew back it came back as really loose big waves. This is fine, except I have really fine hair as well which just makes my hair look poofy at all times. I don't love that.

SO, if any of you have tried the Curly Girl Method (especially for wavy hair), I'd love your advice or experience with it! Quarantine has me research things out the wazoo so I appreciate the help. I was going to reach out to my hair stylist (that I see 2-3 times a year lol oops), but with the salons closed that doesn't seem possible right now.

I have naturally kind of wavy hair, but I so wish it was naturally curly. What is this curly hair method you speak of?! :)

im no curl master since im actually trying to get rid of mine lol, but one way to curl your hair up more is to braid it, let the braids sit for a bit, then take them out (dont brush if you can help it.) id say do it after you wash it while its drying and then take it down the next day. always gives me perfect curls, and i got very tight, penny sized curls lol. they tangle and unravel easily so i used to do this before i cut my hair lol. if you do it alot eventually they will kind of sit that way.

the bigger you want your curls to be the looser to make the braid, and vice versa :) although i would say if you do looser braids to sit them longer :)
