Constitutes a style within coding? Is it how you lay out your CSS ie text selectors and then font etc or something different. Intrigued to see peoples thoughts |

I think of style as a personal aesthetic coupled with function. Like aesthetically, 2 people's coding can be easily identified from the other and each person's code also has a slightly different function in the way it operates. I think it has a a little bit to do with what you're saying with how it's written, but that has more to do with general organization and formatting rules. Like my professor taught us a certain way to format and organize code but that will be different from another professor or different from someone who is self taught. I'm very much a baby coder so this could be totally wrong lol--interested to hear other people's thoughts as well. |

I agree with Jax on the "It's what makes two peoples code can easily be identified from the other" It's what makes your code stand out, I guess. Like Mango's codes always stand out to me, because their codes look a certain way and function a way that is identifiable to them. Even without their signature you can look at it and know it's theirs.
I'm not a phenomenal coder but that's my take.
