I have cut pop, fast food and dairy out of my diet, as well as trying out the advocare 24 day challenge. I've been eating healty (Meal replacement shake for breakfast, salad with fresh onions/tomatoes/green&red peppers/ avocados/ mushrooms and a side of plain greek yogurt with almonds for lunch, apple or some other fruit as a snack, and for dinner either some type of baked fish, chicken, or the 95% lean beef with steamed veggies and sweet potato fries) - for the past month or so, and I actually haven't lost a single pound. Lol. My exersizing varries, based on who all is home that day and in the area where I have the room to work out, but I try to work out at least 3 times a week, if not more. Any tips? We are having a biggest loser contest at work, and on the 26th we weigh in and I'd really love to beat at least one person... XD

It can be really hard to lose weight and everyone's body is different.  If you don't have much weight to lose, it can be slow going - so don't be too discouraged.  Sometimes there are underlying medical issues, such as hypothyroidism or poly cystic ovarian syndrome, that can cause weight issues.  So I would say see a doctor to make sure that you don't have a medical issue.  Make sure you're eating enough calories, usually the lowest recommended amount is 1200 (but check with your doctor for what's appropriate for you).  More on days that you exercise.  You should be exercising 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes according to the latest recommendations.  You don't have to go to a gym.  Sometimes I just lock myself in my bedroom, turn up my music, and dance like crazy for 30 minutes.  My husband thinks it's weird, but it gets my heart rate up.  There's a lot of hype surrounding high intensity interval training right now.  If you're still hitting a wall, you might try that.  I strongly recommend incorporating strength training into your routine.  You're at an age where you're starting to put on your maximum bone density which strength training helps with.  It also increases muscle mass which drives up your basal metabolic rate (you burn more calories while doing nothing yay!).  Make sure you're getting 7-8 hours of sleep at night and reduce your stress.  During times of stress your body likes to hold on to those calories.  And finally, measure inches not pounds.  You can fluctuate quite a bit pound wise even during the course of a day.  It's far better to measure waist/hip/bust/bicep/neck circumference to gauge where you are in your weight loss journey.  Good luck!  Stick with it!  The results are well worth the effort :)

Are you doing weights at all? If you're losing fat, but gaining muscle, your weight might even go up. Which isn't bad! But if you're trying to actually drop pounds that could be why.
