So, I'm thinking of breeding Anfield Road and YNWA on Sunday when the both turn 20, but then breeding a retirement breeding with twins for next years mascot contest.
Is 3 foals too much? |

are you talking about breeding now and keeping that line going and hoping for good ages or
breeding again next year and having a second line going of what you already have? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I mean, do you do many outside breedings? Because if the lines are all yours, then it really doesn't matter. :P Outside lines tend to not be very popular. I'd say 3 is okay, more than that starts getting iffy. ![]() |

Maha, breeding on Sunday as normal for a 20yo old horse and then breeding feb 2021 with twinning
Jaya, I have no outside lines and as of yet havent sold/given foals away but some thoughts would be to deage the foal now when 1 so that it fits with current groupings and then run the foal on as normal with the retirement foal in 2021 going to be my mascot entry with the twin becoming an embassy prize.
I dont feel 3 is too much even if we had a more lucrative sales on HP but was curious to other peoples thoughts |
