September's Player of the Month!

So this is a tad awkward to post this myself, but you guys surprised me with your responses this go around!

Anyone who wins P.o.t.M. can answer as many or all of the questions as they feel comfortable answering!

......HP Questions......
1. How did you first learn about us?
I did a Google search for horse games similar to the late Horseland and HP popped up

2. What is your favorite thing about HP?
I love the community we have created here. You guys make my days better!

3. How long have you been playing for?
Since November of 2011

4. How did you come up with your player name?
It's the title of a song Josh Groban sings. It's on his Closer album.
The piano melody in the song just hits me in the feels and of course Josh's amazing voice is just the icing to the cake.

5. What is your favorite breed of horse or dog to train?
I love my American Saddlebred horses!

6. What caused you to pick the breed(s) you train and breed?
From working with various horse breeds in real life like the American Saddlebreds and Hackney Ponies, to breeds I wish I could have the experience one day to work with such as the Friesian. The German Shepherds and Border Collies are just because they are my favorite breeds of dogs.

7. How do you come up with names for your animals?
Song Titles, Dance steps, TV show episodes, and just something random that goes along with the parents' names

8. What are your current goals on HP?
I’m slowly tucking HPD into my savings so I can do my first ever project horse probably in the next few generations! I'd love to have the highest pointed Saddlebreds on the game if I can make it work, haha!

9. Do you have a favorite animal? (It can be your own or another player’s you admire!)
All of the Mascot Contest entries! You guys are always super creative with your critters!

10. Who’s your go-to graphic artist or coder? Are there any services you offer?
Oh gosh. We have a lot of skillful artists on here! D:
For graphics - Ephemira, Phism, Amberellie, Jaxx, and sooo many more!
For coding - Mango, Binny, Audacia
My services - Training/Account Sitting and Votes

11. What is your favorite Site-Wide yearly event?
24 Days of Christmas (24 DoC)! Second would be Trick-or-Treating!

12. What other contests or activities do you usually participate in?
All...except now that I'm pretty much hosting all of them I just participate in anything that the other players on staff host. :)

13. Do you have any training or breeding tips to share?
I try to breed my guys on Sundays that way their ages match up with any store mates.
For training, just do however many animals you feel comfortable training. You don't need to have a mass hoard unless you really want to have one, haha!

14. Which seasonal layout art is your favorite?
AUTUMN!!! BV loves Fall!

15. If you could change one thing about HP, what would it be and why?
More players! If we can get more people to join us, just think of how much more fun we will have with say the forum games!

1. Where are you from?
All over the place!
I've lived in Connecticut, New York, Michigan, Missouri, and now just recently moved to Southern California

2. What do you do for work?
HP, Cleaning, and before moving I worked on a small horse farm.
Hoping to get back into working with horses soon!

3. Do you own any horses or dogs?
I wish! Sadly, no.

4. Do you have any other types of pets at home?
Two domestic short-haired kitties!
My Orangey One named Alejate and Kitten oh Doom named Emerald

5. What are your favorite breeds of horse and dog?
Horses: American Saddlebreds, Friesians, Morgans, Shires
Dogs: German Shepherds, Border Collies, Australian Shepherds

6. Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?
Aside from horseback riding, I love to go hiking, watch Netflix, and can kinda craft with making wreaths and horse hair key-chains.

7. What’s your favorite color?
Blue!

8. What’s your favorite Holiday or Month?
Holiday: Halloween & Christmas
Month: October because ALL THE FALL THINGS!!!

9. Do you have a favorite vacation spot? If so, what or where is it?
Anywhere in the mountains is nice! I loved spending time in the Adirondack Mountains of New York! Would love to visit out there again someday.

10. Do you have any special talents? If so, what are they?
Falling and landing gracefully....does that count? xD

11. If you could own any breed of horse, what would it be and why?
American Saddlebred! I fell in love with the breed while I was in college. They really are awesome horses to work with. Great personalities and they can do pretty much everything!

12. If you could own any breed of dog, what would it be and why?
I've co-owned a pretty special border collie/australian shepherd mix and he had the best personality and such a love. If I could find another Ben, I'd take him in a heartbeat. Such a good pupper!

13. If you could meet any celebrity, who would it be and why?
I've already met Josh Groban twice! (Thank you FOJG Meet & Greet Lottery)
Josh is just an overall amazing individual! His voice and musical talent is great, but his heart for others is even greater. I could goosh forever, so I'm just going to hush for now because I don't want to scare you away, haha!

14. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Australia just to go visit Steve Irwin's Zoo! Pretty much grew up watching Steve on tv!
New Zealand and Ireland would be pretty neat to visit as well!

15. What would be your dream job?
If my vision was way better than it is I'd love to be a horseback riding instructor.
I've tried and just wasn't the safest so I just don't feel comfortable going down that route.

16. What would be your dream meal of choice?
Anything chicken and chow mein noodle like would be nice

17. What is the top thing on your Bucket List?
Riding a horse on the beach and cantering through the waves!

18. What talent do you wish you had?
I wish I could sing or paint better!

19. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Pistachio

20. What is something you fear?
Lightning

Nope. Not much of a reader soo....

The last movie I saw in theaters was the live action Aladdin and it was really good!

Netflix - Supernatural, Blue Bloods, The Good Cop, and soo many more!
Hulu - The Amazing Race, The Rookie, World of Dance
