How come great danes arent on breed embassy but there is definitely active breeders?? I see there is many breeds with active breeders that has been removed. Is there a reason

Breed embassies are ran by the players, for the players.

The breed ambassadors are volunteers and  if you are interested you should def. inquire about becoming one. It doesn't  mean anything bad, it just means no one has stepped up to be the ambassador just yet.  The Embassy page has the requirements at the bottom, but here they are again just in case you need them: 

Want to be a breed ambassador? In order to be a breed ambassador, you must meet (and maintain) the following requirements:

• You must have an upgraded account for each breed you want to be an ambassador for & keep the upgrade.


• You must be actively breeding & training the breed you are applying for. Four or more weeks of consistent inactivity will disqualify you from being an Ambassador and your Embassy Ownership will be revoked.


• You can be the ambassador of 1 horse and 1 dog breed


• You must be on YOUR 3rd generation in Horse Breeds, or 4th generation in Dog Breeds. (Ex: If Koni is breeding Appaloosas, and bought one of Blitz’s Appaloosas at Generation 10, Koni must be on generation 13 in order to apply for the Ambassador position)


• You must be the trainer of the animals (You can't be using the training services of another player long-term [more than 2 weeks])


• You must have at least one animal with over 1 million points of that breed
  
  All unclaimed breeds are up for grabs and are first come, first serve. Message Koni if you're interested in becoming an ambassador! If your embassy has been revoked and you would like to re-apply, you must have 2 months of activity to re-apply.

I must admit, I don't really get the point of embassies. :P People could just promote the breed themselves, this doesn't really let them do anything else. But whatever lol!

Breed Embassies get their own customizable pages on the HP website where they can list information about the breed and any perks they're willing to provide new or active breeders. Those pages also have quick links to active and retired animals of that breed - so you don't have to perform a customized search yourself - as well as rankings for the highest pointed animals of that breed - a lot of info on one page! Embassies also have a special forum where they can host contests or events :D Our ambassadors also put together breed information for the Breed Info catalog. Being a breed ambassador gets you listed in one easily accessible place so that players who are looking for info/help with your breed can find you quickly and easily, and they know that you're there to help them with the breed - as opposed to them just searching active breeders and hoping someone will help them out. 

You don't have to be a breed ambassador to promote a breed - and everyone's encouraged to promote breeds they love! But it does provide you with more platforms to help you in promoting it! 

I was just curious. I think its great cuz I can just search my breed and look up stuff. but I didnt know why some were removed when they were previously on there.

If the person who was representing the breed no longer meets the requirements it may be removed. :)
