1. fresh-baked m&m cookies 2. Ummm anything easy. :P My sister makes all of these complicated recipes, and I have neither the time nor the patience. If it's easy but yummy, that's my jam. So cookies, anything out of a box, etc. 3. Share 4. "Oh Look, a Cake!" by J. C. McKee 5. Sour Cream Cookies. Secret family recipe, so I can't be more specific, but.... yes. The best. (and one of those complicated recipes I mentioned earlier, so I don't make them, but my sister does!)

1. What is your favorite dessert? CHEESECAKE! 2. What is your favorite dessert recipe to make? I'm a baker - so anything baked, like cookies, brownies, pies, cakes - that kinda thing 3. Would you rather share your desserts or be stingy and keep them to yourself? I actually like baking for others - I only like eating the batter -- whoops lol 4. What is your favorite dessert title-themed book? lol there's such a thing?? I guess I will have to look it up? lol I know I loved a book growing up called "desert moon" and I always misspelled dessert and desert lol 5. What is the most unexpected, yet delicious, mix of ingredients you've ever tasted to make the best dessert? I love peppermint and chocolate - but HATE salt and chocolate. And every single one of my friends is the exact opposite. lol

1: Black Forest gateau. 2: Never made one, but I'd for sure make a cheesecake. Or pavlova! 3: "Share"? Whassat? 4: I don't have any, nor can I think of any I've read, so I'll just post one The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake by Aimee Bender 5: Veda malt bread made into French toast or toasted, put into a bowl and topped with custard. |

1. Favorite dessert: I love desserts and sweets! So don't really have a favorite. Ice cream, strawberry rhubarb pie, inside out chocolate chip cookies, Hershey cherry torte from a Hershey park cookbook, homemade girl scout Samoa cookies, cream puffs 2. Favorite dessert to make: anything from scratch! I love to bake! And I refuse to take the easy way out and use box mixes. I'm like Jaya's sister. I have a 3 year old at home too, but he loves to help me cook and bake everything so it works out well! But I made these homemade girl scout Samoa cookies once. They were soooooo good! They were a complicated and expensive recipe so I don't make them often. But so worth it when I Do! 3. Depends what it is and how big the batch is. I love desserts and baking but don't like eating it all myself. And my husband is the farthest thing from a sweets lover. He prefers salty snacks. 4. "The Sweet Smell of Christmas" by Patricia Scarry. It's a children's scratch and sniff book that my dad's girlfriend bought for my son last Christmas. 5. I love anything caramel and chocolate (probably why I think the homemade girl scout Samoa cookies are so good!). But it seems like everyone I know loves chocolate and peanut butter like Reese (YUCK!!!!!) Points to 340752 |

1. What is your favorite dessert? Definitely ice cream! 2. What is your favorite dessert recipe to make? Right now, I'm obsessed with making pumpkin anything—bread, muffins, cake, pie. My favorite is probably pumpkin muffins with cinnamon oat strussel... yuuuuuum. 3. Would you rather share your desserts or be stingy and keep them to yourself? Probably be stingy, tbh. lol

Chocolate Peanut Torte https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/chocolate-peanut-torte/ 3. Would you rather share your desserts or be stingy and keep them to yourself? I always like to keep a good portion to myself. ;P But half the fun of baking something delicious is letting others taste and share in the goodness! 4. What is your favorite dessert title-themed book? I have a Cheesecake Cookbook by Alan Rosen and Beth Allen that I got from my brother for Christmas one year. :P 5. What is the most unexpected, yet delicious, mix of ingredients you've ever tasted to make the best dessert? Carrot Cheesecake! https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/carrot-cheesecake/ Also one of my favorite desserts to both EAT and MAKE. Uses real cooked carrots. My brother asks for this cheesecake specifically for his birthday every year. xD

1. Favorite dessert: coconut cake. This one is my favorite: https://www.peninsulagrill.com/main/ultimate-coconut-cake 2. Favorite dessert to make: I am terrible at making dessert, but I would love to have the skill and patience to make my own macarons 3. Share :) I would/could definitely house something entirely to myself, but I don't need that lol 4. Favorite dessert-themed book: I would also go with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Roald Dahl was one of my favorite authors growing up :) 5. Unexpected, yet delicious mix of ingredients: Mexican fruit cups are one of my favorites. You can mix all sorts of fruit with Tajin (it's like a chili lime salt) and Chamoy seasoning. Mango, watermelon, pineapple, and jicama are my favorite combinations. Cucumber is a little weird added in to the mix, but it also sort of works. points here please (& thank you!): https://horsephenomena.com/horses.php?id=327591 |

1. Hard tie between creme brulee & smith island cake (: Smith Island cake is a very complex cake to pull off correctly as it has between 8-12 very thin layers of cake. The classic chocolate icing has to be made in a very specific way as well so it's not sickeningly sweet(altough there is different flavors ex. strawberry, peanut butter , etc; yellow cake with it's signature chocolate icing is the main og). I'm not sure if anyone has heard of this cake or if it's something known all around the US? I'd be interested to know. I live on the Eastern Shore in MD and I'm in a small town right next door where you can take a half hour boat ride to Smith Island- which we try to do often to buy some legit Smith Island cakes made in Smith Island, there is nothing in the world like a smith island cake- take a bite and you're in heaven :D 2. Anything that me and my mom cook together (I'm nearly 24 and still love cooking with my mom, and I hope my daughter will still come over to bake with me sometimes whenever she moves out lol!). A few of our favorites to bake are of course my two favorites, angel food cake, macarons, & plain new york style cheesecake. When I'm baking alone I like making chocolate souffles. Growing up me and mom would bake as often as we could so naturally now that I'm grown I still absolutely LOVE to bake and cook. We host thanksgiving every year and it's a very important holiday to my family! 3. Definitely share because *cough*I like getting complimented on my baking*cough*, sometimes I bake just to give it away 4. Dessert Circus - Jacques Torres, it's a cookbook so not sure if it counts! 5. This isn't really unusual but I can't think of anything else at the moment. Every month my mom gets one of those "Yum Boxes" that sends common treats in other places in the world to you. A few months ago my mom got something called coconut chips and they were so dang yummy, they aren't anything like toasted coconut. Anyway, she made a little cake using them and it was omg so bomb. I can't remember where they came from, but since they're in a different country I'm doubtful I'll ever find them anywhere in the US so I'll probably never get the chance to eat that one cake again ): points to snooch, dog #129718 please! |

Points here, please and thank you! https://horsephenomena.com/dogs.php?id=130232 1. Favorite dessert: ice cream and/or frozen yogurt 2. Favorite dessert recipe to make: yogurt pie; easiest pie ever! https://www.thespruceeats.com/cool-whip-pie-recipe-3376704 3. Share desserts or be stingy? share, as long as there is enough leftovers for enjoyment another day 4. Dessert themed book? Either The Chocolate Touch by Patrick Skene Catling or If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff 5. This isn't odd, but maybe for some: when baking anything with chocolate or chocolate chips, we always add in cinammon because it brings out the chocolate flavor that much more acutely. Otherwise, there have been some interesting ice cream flavors tasted in my life-time: I find I like the matcha tea ice cream a lot, when I used to think it was odd. And I've seen recipes calling for dried lavender in a shortbread recipe. It's something I haven't tried, but I imagine it might mimic an Earl Grey tea flavor, just a bit. |

1. OOf. So many. Creme Brulees, Caramel and fudge brownies, fudgcicles, ice cream sandwhiches, pumpkin pie... it's way easier to ask what I don't like. 2. Cookies. Chocolate chip cookies, sprinkled with a smidge of sea salt. 3. Depends entirely on how big it is. A whole or half pie, I will happily share. A single piece... well... how much do I like you? 4. Well, we have "1985 best recipies yearbook" which is a cook book... but nothing really dessert specific. I don't even have any books that sound like desserts. 5. I typically don't experiment much, or at least not as much as I probably did when I was younger. However there is a recipe from one of my old jobs that was marshmellows and pineapples, mixed in strawberry yogurt and whipped cream. I wouldn't call it the best, or that wierd, but it does have a unique taste. All points to horse 340991 if you please ^^ |
