That's how I was when I was growing my roots out.  I grew it out for like 2 years without a cut, but the first year I was rocking some nasty roots! haha  I was thankful for Batiste dry shampoo with blonde in it to help hide most of it.  Now I have a proper ombre!  I need to get it redone though because it's looking too golden and not a cool white/grey like it used to be.

Me on a good hair day, right before I dyed it green which won't come out!
