"Edit" for graphic auctions

Like if you wanted to change the picture, description, or the SB or AB. I think it would be nice to have an edit button, because right now if you want to change something you can only delete it. |

I disagree, because I can see people using that to scam.I bid on a high-quality piece of work.Right before accepting a bid, seller edits the auction, switches it to something else entirely, and accepts my high bid.Me, as the buyer, never got a chance to say anything about it. I'm kinda out of luck at this point. :(I think an admin should be able to edit within an auction (I've never tried, so I'm not positive, I just assume I should be able to), so if something desperately needs to be changed, send me a message and I'll try to sort it out. |

You can, Adranth :). And yeah, I disagree for the same reason! |

I could see this being available if players were only able to edit the information they listed, not the image. |

It'd be weird, though, wouldn't it? Changing the sb and ab around? I don't know, I don't use the auctions much. |

sometimes i forget to include a certain detail in my auctions.. so i end up having to delete and remake it.. its not that big of a deal for me.. I guess it would be annoying if there were bids already on it, but I usually notice if i screw something up within 5 minutes of posting :P I guess there could be a comments section that you can add to the picture/people can comment with questions? Idk if anyone would use that though haha |

What about if something was changed then the highest bidder was notified or something? |

Yeah, maybe if there was a notification about it, but what if it didn't happen in time for them to withdraw their bid? It's kind of like ebay, once you post something you're bound to what you've posted. Maybe we should just have a confirmation/preview page? |

I second the preview page! That's really all I want, is to be able to see the finish product before it's finalized. |

I like this idea... or at least the idea of being able to edit the description. SBs and ABs are not set in stone (as much as we'd all like them to), so IMO it doesn't really matter if someone changes the description anyway.I don't think there's ever been a time when I DIDN'T mess up and had to recreate the auction. XDBut that brings me to another idea - could the SBs and ABs actually be enforced? Having true, automated ABs would solve the problem of "overbidding", which isn't fair. ...and there would also be an option to have only one or neither.
