Durango for Colorado! It's a little tourist town in the mountains with a white water river running through it and an old-timey western feel. It's beautiful.Sandia Mountains (Albuquerque), New Mexico.Stratford in Ontario, Canada has a lovely true Shakespearean theater.And if by whatever unfortunate circumstances you find yourself in my dismal state of Michigan, go to Ann Arbor. It's one of the bigger cities, probably some of the best shopping in the state, some night clubs, the main University of Michigan campus, U of M Botanical Garden... African Safari Wildlife Park in Port Clinton, Ohio. Also known as "that one time a buffalo almost got his head stuck in dad's car window." They offer drive-thru "safaris" through an open... pasture, really, full of African wildlife. And the buffalo seriously have no problem sticking their whole head in your car in search of carrots. Kentucky:-Lexington Horse Park! I love it there.-Mammoth Cave! I'd like to go someday.Illinois:-Chicago lake! I went swimming in it once. I also liked the zoo. |

Montreal, Canada: the city and its surrounding areas are full of things to do year round! Restaurants, bars & clubs, theatre, comedy shows, concerts, museums, old city architecture, Montreal's Old Port area, La Ronde amusement park, zoos, skiing, water parks, sports events... I could go on, but it's easier to go here: https://www.mtl.org/en/what-to-do and pick something that suits you!     |
