January's Player of the Month!

Happy New Year!
Hope this new year brings more positivity and overall well being for everyone!

A Huge Congratulations to Saturnia!!!

Satrunia has been chosen to be in this month's spotlight! We're starting off this New Year right with this great Light on HP!

......HP Questions......
1. How did you first learn about us?
- I first learned about you through HL yearsssss ago. Probably 2008/9 ish?

2. What is your favorite thing about HP?
- The community! I adore all of the friends I have made!

3. How long have you been playing for?
- Off and on since 2009, but most recently the past 3 years on.

4. How did you come up with your player name?
- I have a tattoo of Saturn on my arm and Saturnia is the italian or french way to say it!

5. What is your favorite breed of horse or dog to train?
-Currently? Black Forest Nightmares and Goldens!

6. What caused you to pick the breed(s) you train and breed?
-BFNM because halloween spooky vibes! Goldens because of my new Golden Retriever puppy, Finley!

7. How do you come up with names for your animals?
- It's all on a whim, whatever I'm interested in at the moment. Currently that is mythology, so a lot of them are named after gods/goddesses.

8. What are your current goals on HP?
- Continue climbing the rankings for forum posts, continue making an impact on player's by being there for them and checking in on them and just making the game a safe space for everyone!

9. Do you have a favorite animal? (It can be your own or another player’s you admire!)
- IRL? My 4 dogs. Inside the game.. probably Hestia! The dog that won the 2020 Mascot Contest. That was such an awesome team effort!

10. Who’s your go-to graphic artist or coder? Are there any services you offer?
-I have a coding skeleton, so I can code some basic layouts and do basic graphics. But, when I'm looking for something awesome? Mango's coding is LEGENDARY! And Jax's graphic skills?! Incredible! There's tons of so many talented artists and coders on this game!

11. What is your favorite Site-Wide yearly event?
Oooh tough one. It's a tie between Halloween Pumpkin Hunt and Blitz's Christmas Word Search.

12. What other contests or activities do you usually participate in?
- 24 DoC is super fun! I love any of the scavenger hunts! I recently have been having a lot of fun with Mango's Animal Hunts. I try to get involved as much as possible!

13. Do you have any training or breeding tips to share?
-I am horrible at that aspect of the game, so my tip is to go ask Con or Blitz or Lady R or Mame or Jaya! Those are a few off the top of my head that have stunning lines/reliable tips!

14. Which seasonal layout art is your favorite?
- Fall!

15. If you could change one thing about HP, what would it be and why?
- I don't think I would change a thing. I love HP for the nostalgia, for the friendships, and for the entertainment. It has everything it needs!

......Real Life & Random Questions......
1. Where are you from?
- Originally, I'm from South Carolina. But I currently live in Northern Utah!

2. What do you do for work?
- I am a Licensed Property Manager for SC.

3. Do you own any horses or dogs?
- 4 dogs!

4. Do you have any other types of pets at home?
- I would love to have a horse again! I have plans for one/two in the future. But for now, just doggos.

5. What are your favorite breeds of horse and dog?
- Friesians are my absolute favorite horse. They are so stunning! Dogs? Probably a Lab or Golden!

6. Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?
- Reading, Gaming, Hiking, Reading Tarot, and watching TV shows with my wife if that counts.

7. What’s your favorite color?
- Black. Always has been since I was a child.

8. What’s your favorite Holiday or Month?
- HALLOWEEN! I love Fall and Haunted Houses!

9. Do you have a favorite vacation spot? If so, what or where is it?
-Hmm. This changes every time I explore somewhere new. But, right now? I'd say Disney World because I miss it!

10. Do you have any special talents? If so, what are they?
- I don't think I have any, other than just being a jack of all trades but a master of none.

11. If you could own any breed of horse, what would it be and why?
-I previously owned a Paso Fino, a Palomino, a Paint, and a Quarter Horse. But, what I truly want to own is a Friesian!

12. If you could own any breed of dog, what would it be and why?
- I think I'm good with my 4!

13. If you could meet any celebrity, who would it be and why?
- Demi Lovato! She is my celebrity wife. Such a babe!!

14. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
- I want to visit Greece one day! But also, Scotland or Norway!

15. What would be your dream job?
- A stay at home dog mom? LOL When I was little, I would have said Prima Ballerina, Model, or Interior Designer. Now? I'm happy doing exactly what I am now.

16. What would be your dream meal of choice?
- Zaxby's toast, Chicfila chicken, Five Guy's french fries, and a Starbucks drink :P

17. What is the top thing on your Bucket List?
- Travel the World! I want to visit as many countries and places as possible!

18. What talent do you wish you had?
- Cooking! Lol Steph makes all the food for us. So I wish I knew more than just basic meals.

19. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
- Vanilla! That is the best and you cannot change my mind!

20. What is something you fear?
- Disappointing those that I care about. Heights. Finding a snake in the bathroom in the middle of the night when I get up to use the bathroom (irrational, I know)

21. What’s the funniest joke you heard recently?
- Dad jokes. My friend Paola is the queen and just last night told this one : Why do bees have sticky hair? Because they use a honeycomb!

22. What Meme do you currently relate to? (please provide the pic link)
- Clicky Here! This meme is my favorite and usually a MOOD!

23. Any good books or comics that you’ve read recently?
- Oh gosh, so many! The Crave series by Tracy Wolff was SO good! I just started reading Crescent City by Sarah J Mass (my fave author).

24. Any good movies or shows you’ve seen lately?
- After we Colided, The Last Kingdom, Vikings, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Emily in Paris.. I could go on for ages.

25. What is your go-to show to stream? (Via Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.)
-Usually Netflix! But sometimes Hulu or Disney , depends on the mood for the night!
