The Perfect Father (Chris Watts Case)

I've been binging Going West: True Crime. There's minimal banter (which gets kind of annoying / doesn't really add anything to the story, but it's easy to either skip through or roll your eyes at and let go) and they're really good story-tellers. Each episode is one case, which is the format I enjoy the most.

Yeah I love MFM but I find their banter can get to be a bit much sometimes, so I've taken to listening to it at 1.5x speed ;P

Yeah, thats why I stopped listening to Crime Junkies. They were too ditzy and would have a lot of side conversations.

I like the story telling aspect of Crime Junkie! I also listen to Park Predators, MFM, and National Park After Dark. 

If you're looking for books, I LOVED the Before She Disappeared and One Step Too Far by Lisa Gardner. It follows the life of Frankie Elkin, an average nomad that travels from place to place solving cold cases that the police haven't had much luck with.

Does anyone listen to Last Podcast on the Left or Morbid? Those are good, in my opinion. 

Those two are on my list to try out once I get through Going West. I actually did like Morbid; it's going to take me a bit to get used to it, but I think that will be my next one.

I gave Crime Junkies a try, but then all that stuff came out about them plagiarizing other podcasts, plus they just sound so scripted ("Full. Body. Chills" I can't D:) that it turned me off pretty quickly. 

Blitz also turned me onto Canadian True Crime. She's Australian, tells one story per episode, and she just tells it straight out. No banter, no side-stuff. Just right to the story and she spends a lot of time on the victims.

^^ and sometimes the cases are multiple episodes too!

Forgot that point, yes! I think Robert Pickton ended up being 4 parts I think? Which was so much but she did such a good job with that one.
