February's Player of the Month!

Spring is just around the corner guys!
Who's looking forward to warmer weather and longer daylight times?

A Huge Congratulations to Amberellie!!!

Amberellie has been chosen to be in this month's spotlight! She's such a sweetheart, it's only fitting she gets a little extra love this month! :)

"She is always so very kind and constantly offers her graphics to players who cannot afford to pay her "usual rate" for very cheap, if not free! She is always someone I can go to if I need to talk, or just to brighten my day with a cute cow picture! She jumps in and helps whenever she can without expecting anything in return, she has such a pure heart!"
"She's been so great and friendly since her come back and open to getting to know everyone, whether they are old friends or new. I appreciate how she's been kind and friendly and inclusive of all the new community members since her hiatus."

......HP Questions......
1. How did you first learn about us?
Through Horseland, I was a Moderator and was sad when players were leaving, but I was also really unhappy with the site, so I ran away and made my way here.

2. What is your favorite thing about HP?
I think my favorite thing is, it's my outlet to get away from real world problems. I love going on and making graphics for players, and them being so happy with the results! It makes my day when someone loves my artwork!

3. How long have you been playing for?
I believe it will be 12 years in June!

4. How did you come up with your player name?
It was a college nickname, and it's still my nickname. I've thought about changing it, but I love it so much!

5. What is your favorite breed of horse or dog to train?
I love my Paints & Beagles!

6. What caused you to pick the breed(s) you train and breed?
I love that paints come in all sorts of markings, so finding pictures or making pictures is so much fun.
Beagles are named after previous pets in my life, and everything else is random!

7. How do you come up with names for your animals?
It's the one thing I'm terrible at on this game! I go onto google and just randomly search things until I like the words haha

8. What are your current goals on HP?
Hope to one day have an animal on one of the all time rankings list! I had accomplished it back in 2010 I think, but that dog was evicted!

9. Do you have a favorite animal? (It can be your own or another player’s you admire!)
Sign of The Times - my highest pointed horse, I think he's 7mill, Bojangles - He was my first high pointed animal. But I also admire Azalie's paints!!

10. Who’s your go-to graphic artist or coder? Are there any services you offer?
I love everyone's art and coding! I hate making stuff for myself; but love doing graphics for others!

11. What is your favorite Site-Wide yearly event?
I love the Mascot Contest! I've only participated in it once, and it was so much fun! I just love watching the competition and the teamwork that goes in it!

12. What other contests or activities do you usually participate in?
I made an attempt this Christmas to do the 24ofChristmas! But I also like to try to do the photography contests.

13. Do you have any training or breeding tips to share?
Don't forget to train!

14. Which seasonal layout art is your favorite?
Love the Fall one!

15. If you could change one thing about HP, what would it be and why?
Nothing, I love everything about it.

.....Real Life & Random Questions.......
1. Where are you from?
North-Central Connecticut, US

2. What do you do for work?
I'm an assistant herdsman on a small dairy farm. I mostly milk cows, but also train the show projects and get them ready for the shows. I'm also a 4-H leader for the club on the farm. Love teaching kids!

3. Do you own any horses or dogs?
No horses, but the farm did a Quarter Horse this summer. He keeps us entertained! I have a Hound/Collie Mix name Molly. Love her to death!

4. Do you have any other types of pets at home?
I have a cat named Sophie! 10g fish tank with a female betta and a catfish. and I also have about 9 show cows.

5. What are your favorite breeds of horse and dog?
I really like Welsh Ponies, one of my best friends has them, and it's always entertaining going to visit them! and my favorite breed of dog is the Labrador Retriever.

6. Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?
I show my dairy cattle across New England, and I love doing outdoorsy things! Also, love just sitting and working on digital paintings.

7. What’s your favorite color?
Turquoise!

8. What’s your favorite Holiday or Month?
Christmas - it's the only holiday of the month I get to go home and see family! I'm the only one in CT now, everyone else is in Florida!

9. Do you have a favorite vacation spot? If so, what or where is it?
I love upstate NY, and I've always loved visiting Canada!

10. Do you have any special talents? If so, what are they?
I'm really good at slipping on ice.

11. If you could own any breed of horse, what would it be and why?
I like the Breyer horses, because they just sit on shelves haha

12. If you could own any breed of dog, what would it be and why?
I'd love to have an Australian Shepherd one day!

13. If you could meet any celebrity, who would it be and why?
I've always wanted to meet Pink, I love that she doesn't care what people think of her!

14. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
I've been to Kentucky, I'd love to got there again! I went a few years ago for a cattle show, and my friend drove me to Lexington, and I loved the rolling hills and horses!

15. What would be your dream job?
I have the dream job! I love working on the farm, it's my happy place!

16. What would be your dream meal of choice?
Grilled cheese and tomato soup!

17. What is the top thing on your Bucket List?
Going to Switzerland!

18. What talent do you wish you had?
I wish I knew how to ride horses! xD

19. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
We have a creamery on the farm, I love their homemade flavors. My absolute favorite is their Orange-Pineapple!

20. What is something you fear?
Spiders

21. What’s the funniest joke you heard recently?
What does the ocean do when it sees its friends? It waves
