1: Have/would you dog breeders ever give your dogs names that are associated with horses? Like show-jumpers or racehorses?

2: Have/do you ever "recycle" names you've used in the past?

I prefer to name my dogs with single word names. More than one word and I feel weird about it lol. That said, if there was a horse named with one word, I may use it. I haven't really had any motivation to name a dog breed after horses yet though.

For recycling names, I have done things where I "recycle" names from the same theme but with different breeds. Like I've done Harry Potter themed Leonbergers and horses, and I've used the same names for a Leonberger and a horse. I don't think I'd recycle between two dog breeds or two horse breeds though, I want that nice species buffer between recycling lol.

I typically do 1-2 word names for dogs and longer for horses. 

So rarely is there a copy between the two.

However I do recycle names as I simply don't keep track LOL

I recycle names like crazy. I think I've had Alice Cooper lines about 5x now in at least 3 different breeds. I just keep restarting. LMFAO
