Write? Wrote? Whuuuut?

So I put into Google's search bar "Where did C.S. Lewis write the Chronicles of Narnia?" and when I hit search, I saw this at the top "Did you mean: where did c.s. lewis wrote the chronicles of narnia?".
Surely the correct word is "write" and not "wrote"? Does anyone know? O_o  |

it's 'cause google adjusts it based on what the majority of people type in. So it means that most people don't know how to grammer... |
