1. How did you first learn about us?
I was super unhappy with the changes on HL in 2009 and started Googling for 'online horse games like Horseland' and a post from HMF popped up advertising HP - I clicked to join and never looked back!

2. What is your favorite thing about HP?
The freedom to choose how you want to play: you can have a bazillion accounts, train super high-pointed animals, reside exclusively in Chat, wow the graphic auctions, dedicate an animal to a loved one, etc., etc. - or a combination of any or all of those! Whether you have a bunch of free time or only log in once a week - there's a playstyle that can work for you.

3. How long have you been playing for?
Since June 6, 2009! I was 13y/o when I joined!!

4. How did you come up with your player name?
Hahahahahahaha well... which one?! I have commitment issues when it comes to names and have changed it approximately 382957934843 times. Originally, I was Four Wishes Farm as a carryover from HL, then there were a handful of 'cool' random word names before I settled on Fathoms for a while. I liked the ties to the ocean and seafaring (used as a measurement for the depth of water; equal to 6 feet), as well as the darker (*cough* emo) meaning of 'deep sixing' someone. It was 2012 and I was a feisty emo kid in high school, ok?! My current name sort of dropped into my lap scrolling through pretty words - will I stick with it for a while? Who knows!

5. What is your favorite breed of horse or dog to train?
Shiba Inu - I still have the highest-pointed dogs! Most of my lines have song names from an amazing Japanese band (One Ok Rock) that helped me through a bunch of difficult times. Hoping to establish my Thai Ponies soon to be a new favorite, haha! (And maybe getting the Phu Quoc Ridgeback added eventually...? We'll see!)

6. What caused you to pick the breed(s) you train and breed?
Thai Ponies & Thai Ridgebacks - They're super cool and have interesting histories! A bunch of my friends are Thai as well and I love hearing and learning more about Thai culture ^^
Java Ponies - I'm part Indonesian and they're cute!
Fennec Foxes & Maned Wolves - Oooooh interesting to learn about and cool looking!
Chihuahuas, Chow Chows, Finnish Lapphunds, Mi-Kis, Mini Poodles, Papillon, Pomeranians, Swedish Vallhunds & Yakutian Laikas - ALL OF THE DOGS!! ALL OF THEM!! A BIG VARIETY!! LOVE!!!
Kitsune - I'm a nerd who watches anime and these bad boys are perfect for releasing the inner weeb.

7. How do you come up with names for your animals?
Depending on the lines it could be songs, movies, TV shows, anime, places, colors, feelings, random cool words, folk tales, or names from baby websites that make my Google Ads algorithm think I'm having a baby.

8. What are your current goals on HP?
Stick to a breed on my main for at least 5 generations, and keep up with training all of my lines on spare accounts. Make more premade images and layouts to sell! Log on more than once a week (darn you job that pays for my upgrades!)

9. Do you have a favorite animal? (It can be your own or another player’s you admire!)
Mithril (#62914) the highest-pointed Pembroke Welsh Corgi at one time, and part of the longest lines I've ever maintained. One of the things that kept me sane throughout high school. When I graduated, I retired all of the lines except for mithril.

10. Who’s your go-to graphic artist or coder? Are there any services you offer?
I usually code my own stuff but 99% of the time I'm not ever satisfied with it! Right now I'm only selling premades due to limited time, but I would like to eventually offer custom layouts and coding again one day.

11. What is your favorite Site-Wide yearly event?
THE EASTER EGG HUNT!!! So fun!!!

12. What other contests or activities do you usually participate in?
I've done a couple of Bingo rounds and some smaller activities but I'm usually too busy to commit to much more at the moment!

13. Do you have any training or breeding tips to share?
Waiting until the middle - the end of the week to train ALWAYS gets you more points. Almost everyone else trains starting on Sunday so the first half of the week is much more flooded. My busy-ness (and procrastination) led me to discover this!

15. If you could change one thing about HP, what would it be and why?
Make more people join!! There was a golden time from 2010-2013ish with a bunch of people (mostly in high school and equivalent) who had too much free time and were always online and things were never dull (for better or for worse, lmfao). A core base of paying adult players keeps the lights on, but the slightly younger demographic keeps things alive and thriving.

......Real Life & Random Questions......
1. Where are you from?
Michigan! It's too cold and dark here for too much of the year and one day I will head to somewhere warmer (California, Thailand, or Singapore).

2. What do you do for work?
I'm a Marketing Coordinator for an international company! I run their social media platforms by creating and sharing content and managing relationships with followers and influencers. I also design in-house for any department that needs something done, and work with clients, suppliers, and distributors to make sure they have relevant media content to share for their partnerships with us.

3. Do you own any horses or dogs?
Not personally at the moment! My mom and youngest sister own a Thoroughbred mare who is mostly retired and enjoys the occasional toting-around-of-nieces-or-boyfriend and the harem of geldings that follow her around everywhere. I would love to be able to get back into riding and either lease or own a horse again one day.

4. Do you have any other types of pets at home?
No, I travel too much for work!

5. What are your favorite breeds of horse and dog?
For horses, Minis! They're literally miniature versions of regular-sized horses and I just want to hug all of them. I love driving horses and ponies and they're great for that as well! Zebras are super cool, too!
For dogs, I love Samoyeds! Floofy cloud dogs! Would never want to own one though - the hair!!

6. Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?
I love to read, create flower arrangements from supermarket bargain bins, collect perfumes, swim whenever and wherever possible, shoot free throws and pretend I can play basketball, buy too many candles, watch anime, listen to as many different genres of music as possible, write poetry, bookmark cars that I can't currently afford but would like to eventually buy to live out my summer convertible dreams and visit zoos and museums.

7. What’s your favorite color?
Red! I like deep burgundy and wine reds, as well as 'true', bright reds.

8. What’s your favorite Holiday or Month?
March - it's my birthday month, the weather is getting warmer, and everything feels like it might be ok after a long winter.

9. Do you have a favorite vacation spot? If so, what or where is it?
Hawaiʻi! I love both the ocean and the jungle. Good food, a cool mix of cultures, good people, and great weather.

10. Do you have any special talents? If so, what are they?
I can fold my tongue into a taco normal-ways and sideways. I also have mild synesthesia and can taste words, hear colors, and feel music.

11. If you could own any breed of horse, what would it be and why?
An Andalusian! So majestic and head-turning with hearts of gold and incredible athletic ability.

12. If you could own any breed of dog, what would it be and why?
A Cane Corso! I would feel as safe as a person could get - have you seen them?!

13. If you could meet any celebrity, who would it be and why?
Takahiro Moriuchi, the singer of One Ok Rock - I'd thank him for the amazing music that helped me through difficult times and for creating a community for the misfits that extends beyond the music.

14. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Vietnam! Huế (palaces!!! pagodas!!! river cruises!!!), Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park (caves!!!), Nha Trang and Phú Quốc (swimming!!! jungles!!!) My best friend and other half is Viet ❤

15. What would be your dream job?
Either reading books and giving a simple thumbs up or thumbs down for a ridiculous amount of money per review or having my own show as a mermaid swimming in a giant fish tank at some swanky place.

16. What would be your dream meal of choice?
I really REALLY want beef phở from Ma Mang in Flint, MI... ate there while in college and miss it. Mmmmmm... with some coconut soda... And then a nice stroll through the Farmers Market followed by a nap on my crappy college apartment loveseat with cigarette burns... Ok, ok, that's enough!

17. What is the top thing on your Bucket List?
FINALLY FIND A HAIRSTYLE THAT LOOKS GOOD ON ME BUT DOESN'T MAKE ME WANT TO HURL MYSELF INTO A LAKE WITH THE MAINTENANCE REQUIRED!

18. What talent do you wish you had?
The ability to speak, write, read, and understand ANY language fluently!!

19. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
I'm addicted to Ben & Jerry's sunflower Mint Chocolate Cookie and their almond Netflix & Chilll'd!! The cashew milk So Delicious ice creams are fire too.

20. What is something you fear?
Heights! Aghhhhhhh! I hated even being in the hayloft.

21. What’s the funniest joke you heard recently?
My life (lmao jk jk)! Where does a cow watch videos? MooTube!
