1.) Do you have cats? If so, how often do you clean the litter pan (just scoop out poo and pee clumps)? How often do you completely change it? I have 3 cats, but since they are indoor/outdoor cats (they come in at night, but are out during the day) I generally don't need to clean the litterbox for at least week at a time. I completely change it once every other month now. 2.) If you have cats, what type of litter do you use? (clumping, paper, aspen, ect...) I use the clumping litter, makes it much easier to clean in my opinion.
4.) If you have cats, what type of toys do they like best? My oldest cat (10) loves to play with anything that he can bat around and knock off of things; like pencils, pens, crumpled up paper, jewelry (if you give him the chance), little fake geckos. My youngest cat (4) is a little more tricky, he prefers to play with string or something you can dangle above his head so he can swipe at it and doesn't care to much about what the older one likes to play with. I've never gotten them 'official cat toys' like from the stores, just used things that were already around the house. My last cat (9) rarely plays with toys, she's never been a fan of them since day one of having her.
Hopefully this helps in some way |

1.) Do you have cats? If so, how often do you clean the litter pan (just scoop out poo and pee clumps)? How often do you completely change it? Yes, I have one cat at the moment. I clean the litter box roughly every other day by just scooping, and I change the litter completely once a week. 2.) If you have cats, what type of litter do you use? (clumping, paper, aspen, ect...) I use "Tidy Cats 24/7 Performance for Continous Odor Control" and it clumps. I have tried using a cheaper version of litter in the past. However, my cat isn't having that and starts peeing NOT in her litter box when I've done that. 3.) If you have dogs, are they mainly indoor or outdoor? Why? My dog hates being inside, so I was just wondering if anyone else had a pooch like this. Yes, I have one dog and she is mainly indoor, but this is only due to me living in an apartment. She refuses to go out in the rain though. 4.) If you have cats, what type of toys do they like best? My cat loves Kitty City. (I posted the link below) She also loves the little balls with the jingle ball inside of it. She picks it up and drops it at my feet to throw it, and then brings it back to me. She loves playing fetch LOL
5.) If you have any other type of animal (other than horse/dog/cats), do they have their own personalities? N/A 6.) What type of toys do your horses like best? N/A
Not sure if you are asking for advice, or just because. But I hope this helps! :D |

1.) Do you have cats? If so, how often do you clean the litter pan (just scoop out poo and pee clumps)? How often do you completely change it? I used to have cats but I don't now. I used to clean the pan at least every other day (for two cats, probably won't need to as often if you just have one). I completely changed it once a week. 2.) If you have cats, what type of litter do you use? (clumping, paper, aspen, ect...) Not sure what type of litter...probably clumping? 3.) If you have dogs, are they mainly indoor or outdoor? Why? My dog hates being inside, so I was just wondering if anyone else had a pooch like this. I have one dog. He's an indoor dog because I'm a softie and I would feel bad if he had to be outside all day and night. I try to put him outside when I go to work but he's very picky about his backyards, sometimes he will love to stay outside all day and sometimes he will only want to be inside (we've been moving from house to house recently and the last place we were at he did not want to be in the backyard unless someone was out there playing with him). 4.) If you have cats, what type of toys do they like best? My cats used to love the stick with a feather boa attached, or of course, their cat scratch board because we would put cat nip on it. 5.) If you have any other type of animal (other than horse/dog/cats), do they have their own personalities? No other animals. 6.) What type of toys do your horses like best My horse never liked to play with toys.
Hope this helps :) I don't know why the text is differently colored. I tried to make it all the same but it won't work. |

1.) Do you have cats? If so, how often do you clean the litter pan (just scoop out poo and pee clumps)? How often do you completely change it? I have 3 cats and 2 litter boxes. I scoop poops when they happen and do a final scoop at night to get any pee clumps out. I completely empty, scrub out and change the litter once a week. 2.) If you have cats, what type of litter do you use? (clumping, paper, aspen, ect...) I use a mix of Odor Buster (clumping clay) and Yesterday's News (paper based). 3.) If you have dogs, are they mainly indoor or outdoor? Why? My dog hates being inside, so I was just wondering if anyone else had a pooch like this. My dogs are all indoor dogs... I put them out in the backyard for a bit during the day if it's nice out, but they live eat and sleep in the house. 4.) If you have cats, what type of toys do they like best? I find the stick toys with feathers/toy mice on the end are popular among my kitties :p also just random objects that they can bat around on the floor. 5.) If you have any other type of animal (other than horse/dog/cats), do they have their own personalities? I have 3 rats and they most definitely have different personalities! 6.) What type of toys do your horses like best? I don't have a horse, but when i was riding/leasing I saw lots of horses that seemed to like those jolly balls.
I have two green/organics bins at my house and one is exclusively dedicated to containing animal (dog cat and rat) poops.. lmao

1.) Do you have cats? If so, how often do you clean the litter pan (just scoop out poo and pee clumps)? How often do you completely change it? yes. I have 13 of them. The indoor cats (which there are 4 here in the house in town) they should be done everyday... at most 3 days...i have 4 pans... then i have 8 outside cats out at my lake house and 1 indoor(his gets cleaned everyday). I completely change it when the litter gets really low

1.) Do you have cats? If so, how often do you clean the litter pan (just scoop out poo and pee clumps)? How often do you completely change it?
1 kitty with clumping litter, cleaned weekly
2.) If you have cats, what type of litter do you use? (clumping, paper, aspen, ect...)
clumping
3.) If you have dogs, are they mainly indoor or outdoor? Why? My dog hates being inside, so I was just wondering if anyone else had a pooch like this.
my moms dogs are indoor, they have a doggy door that's open during the warmer weather and go in and out as they please.
4.) If you have cats, what type of toys do they like best?
she loves her soft balls. not like the baseball, but a ball with just fuzz inside, not a hard shell. She carries them around in her mouth like she would her pray.
5.) If you have any other type of animal (other than horse/dog/cats), do they have their own personalities?
Definitely. My gerbils are completely different Tubby likes to chew and is lazier and more friendly with people. Rascal is very active but doesn't like to be handled as much and is more into digging. My bettas have had some personality differences too (as much as fish can...)
6.) What type of toys do your horses like best?
TBH, my mares weren't big on toys. |

1.) Do you have cats? If so, how often do you clean the litter pan (just scoop out poo and pee clumps)? How often do you completely change it? I have 1 cat. I want another but she's brat and hates all cats. -_- She's indoor/outdoor so I don't have to clean the litter box that often. Depending on how much she actually uses it varies from 1-2 weeks. 2.) If you have cats, what type of litter do you use? (clumping, paper, aspen, ect...) I use this: http://www.scoopaway.com/cat-litter/complete-performance-scented/ 3.) If you have dogs, are they mainly indoor or outdoor? Why? My dog hates being inside, so I was just wondering if anyone else had a pooch like this. I have 1 dog. Right now she is a 6 month old puppy. She too is indoor/outdoor. We have purchased a doggy door and she loves it! Her and the cat both use it. We have a large back yard so they both run around in it, and have plenty of room to explore. 4.) If you have cats, what type of toys do they like best? Smudge prefers just the plain old string tied to a stick! She also likes playing with my hair rubber bands, and putting things in her water dish. haha 5.) If you have any other type of animal (other than horse/dog/cats), do they have their own personalities? None at this time. :( 6.) What type of toys do your horses like best? Never really any toys. Just salt licks, and the random neighborhood cat that sneaks into the pasture. haha She sure loves chasing them! |

1. I'm still in the process of getting kitty 2 vetted and inside (he's in quarantine in the garage until he gets fixed and vaccinated) so I have one indoor cat. I just fill it and throw the whole litter box out once a week and then refill it. With two that'll change.
2. The pine litter is better. It really is. However, Galahad is picky and will only use nonclumping litter. Which kinda sucks. XD
3. The dogs aren't mine, but both our rottweilers are usually in and out freely. My parent's husky prefers being outside.
4. If I pay for it Galahad doesn't want it. He'd rather steal hair ties, milk jug caps, straws... The only toy he's ever used was this little pillow stuffed with catnip that I bought at the humane society. Mordred doesn't seem to grasp the concept of playing because he's a stray.
5. My lizard does. :D she's super friendly and goofy. Really the only exotic I've ever owned.
6. What horse. Link Tree |
