I was thinking of doing a retirement breeding on a past pair and that being the mate to my 5th Generation dog. But would it allw me to since the pair I am using would be the Great Great Grand parents of the pup I am wanting to pair it to.

As long as you're not imbreeding, it would be fine. You can breed any two, un-related animals which you own for retirement breedings.
