......HP Questions......
* How did you first learn about us?
My story really is not different from anyone elseās. I had been playing Horseland since I was young but as time went and the game changed, I didnāt find myself enjoying it as much. I began to look around and stumbled across HP. Back then it was still pretty new (I joined in June ā09) and I havenāt looked back since!
* What is your favorite thing about HP?
My favorite thing is that you can play the game HOWEVER you want! Want to stick to yourself and just train up some awesome horse/dogs? Perfect! Want to spend all your time making some amazing graphics and selling them? Awesome! Would you rather spend your time chatting in the forums? You Betcha! You can be as involved or uninvolved as you want, and everyone accepts you for that ?
* How long have you been playing for?
I joined in early 2009 and it is now 2021 so almost exactly 12 years! I did take a few years off during college and afterward because I was working so much and just plain did not have time for HP.
* How did you come up with your player name?
I am kind of embarrassed to say this butā¦ back on HL I was Tragedy Seen which I carried over to HP. I had my darker emo-ish teenager years and somehow came up with the name from there. Now it is just Tragedy. I donāt have that dark angst anymore, but I have grown fond of the name and I think people remember me by it.
* What caused you to pick the breed(s) you train and breed?
The first horse I ever rode was a QH and maybe that was the start! I have been blessed to work with some truly amazing examples of this breed over the years as I was a breeding manager for a couple years for various private cutting horse operations around the USA. They are so versatile and just a truly incredible breed.
* How do you come up with names for your animals?
My main inspiration is music but I am a bit all over the place! My current lines are named after songs by: Halsey, Koe Wetzel, Imagine Dragon & Charles Wesley Godwin. My store lines are named after real life cutting horses that I randomly pick. I think my next naming category will be off the books I read.
* What are your current goals on HP?
To see how far I can get in my generations (just hit gen 8, woohoo!) and to train the highest QH on HP. So far, I have hit over 5 million on 1 horse, so I still have a way to go. And to just enjoy the community and maybe spend more time really getting to know people. I am always so busy I feel like I donāt spend as much time as I would like to interact with others through the game.
* Whoās your go-to graphic artist or coder? Are there any services you offer?
I would have to say Amberellie as she has done many of my horses photos (for my special ones) and I have tried to buy as many of her premades as I can afford. I wish I had more money to spend though, so I can support other HP coders and designers.
* What is your favorite Site-Wide yearly event?
This has been my first year to actually do it but I have always loved Mangoās quests and am looking forward to the next chapter *wink wink* :D
* What other contests or activities do you usually participate in?
My favorite contest is the Photography contest. I cannot wait each month to see what everyone submits and I love sharing part of my world with everyone else. I try and play bingo when I can or do the monthly puzzles as well.
......Real Life & Random Questions......
* Where are you from?
I was born near Vancouver, British Columbia, CAN but have Colorado home since 1998 (even if I have moved away for a few years)
* What do you do for work?
I am an assistant manager of receiving, processing, and shipping department at a feedlot. The company I work for is the largest cattle feeders in the world. So I basically schedule trucks for cattle delivery, unload the cattle & make sure they are healthy and we have the correct paperwork, I set up processing (tagging, vaccinations, pen location, etc.) for the animals, and then when it comes time for them to ship when they are fat I help figure all that fun stuff out!
* Do you own any horses or dogs?
I no longer own any horses but currently own a German shepherd named Mirco and a blue heeler named Jill.
* Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?
I live in Colorado therefore I LOVE to hike! I try and go once a week and hike about 5 or more miles which takes about 2.5 hours generally. I want to go on a longer one here soon :)
On my days off from the feedlot I go help some friends work about 35+ cutting horses at their facility. From 2 year olds to aged event horses. I get paid for doing it, but I also feel like itās a hobby since I technically donāt have to go & I absolutely love it.
* Whatās your favorite color?
Red, but I am extremely picky on the exact shade it is.
Ā * Do you have a favorite vacation spot? If so, what or where is it?
I rarely get to go on vacations, but we used to always go camping in Saguache, CO. We get to go in June, and I am so excited! I have not been in about 7 or so years.
* Do you have any special talents? If so, what are they?
I ām really good at burping!

Anything and everything SUSHI
* Any good books or comics that youāve read recently?
Not a recent read but one of my all time favorites: Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
* Any good movies or shows youāve seen lately?
