Hi!

I noticed that some people can do pretty colors / add hyperlinks to their forum posts but I don't have this function. I was wondering if this is part of the new-account restrictions? Like -- will I be granted more access and able to add links/in-line photos/change the color of the text after the 2 weeks pass? Or is this feature just no longer available in general?

Thank you in advance!!

I think people just use HTML, but since coding is beyond me, I'm honestly not sure. :P Bumping for you!

You just have to have at least a basic understanding of how html works.

Ah, I feel mighty silly now. Thanks guys! I wasn't sure. The only other forum I currently participate in uses plain text so my brain didn't realize that this one was any different.

It took me a gazillion years to figure out how to post a picture in the forums.  I have no idea how to do the different colors. :P

I mostly just use the "bracket" center "bracket" to center my font (change the word bracket to an actual bracket), but I do know basic HTML from other games of using it even if I can't code. For font color changes you can just use "bracket" font color=orange "bracket". I don't bother to use the ending for the code though in the forums, unless it's a link and the ending code is whatever the beginning of your little code is so you would need to add a "bracket" "backslash" font "bracket" for example. No spaces either, to sum up the ending code of the "font color change" one. Hope this helps in some way.

Yes, basic html should work on here!

If you copy-paste from a program like microsoft word, it will keep the effects/colours on your text as well.

For a lot of my posts I do for MHM , I copy and paste from Websites and Google and it will automatically change the format of the words.
Same thing for Word too! I used to do that for the club prezzies posts

Whaaaat I did not know a little html would spruce up forum commenting. Good practice for me too :D this is me testing it out lol

Boo it didnt work D: i did "bracket" font color:purple "bracket" words... "bracket" /font "bracket". What did I do wrong? lol

Okay well google said I had to do "bracket" p style="color: whatever color" "bracket" words... "bracket /p "bracket" which worked but is sooo much more complicated. HTML is so cool but such a pain in my rear end xD
