I didn't play SIMS growing up, but had friends that did so I know a little of how it works. In one of the FaceBook groups I'm in there was a recent thread about SIMS 3 horses, and screenshots of their silly/horrid conformation ponies. So now I'm looking into the game and thinking anout how fun it would be to have terrible horses.

Does anyone play this? Is it worth it? Admittedly I should look more into it, but.. funky pons are just a fun thing.

I played a lot of Sims 3 with horses! So it's definitely worth it. But I also played with a ton of custom content, like breed templates, coats, tack, etc. to make it more realistic because that's what I was after. But I will say, prior to downloading CC, it was a ton of fun watching the Sims' version of "genetics" at play - you'd get a foal with a bow marking lmao. So I say definitely worth it.

I still play the sims 3 with horses! There's TONS of custom content out there to make their coats look more realistic, markings and such so you can make accurate breeds, templates like ado mentioned, and tons of CC for your stables and even stuff for showing! (not functional of course but looks pretty and good for story telling haha)

Ditto all the above. I don't play often these days as I'm more into RPGs, but there is an absolute TON of CC (though TS3 is a clunky enough game as it is so loading it up with CC does tend to need a relatively decent computer) which is really gorgeous and does a pretty decent job of making the horses look less ridiculous and more realistic. I was a huge nerd for building elaborate stables because I'm never gonna be rich enough IRL to have them!

I used to play my sims 3 all the time, but i've gotten more into my sims 4.  I wish it had horses! I love making more realistic colored horses, like a blue roan dun or a buckskin. It was so much fun. Love how the random genetics work on there though.
