SOO without throwing my neighbor 100% under the bus

I may be getting a bunny of unknown sex or age (their daughter doesnt want it anymore *eyeroll* and thought my kids would like it) it is white with a few brown patched and looks pretty "grown"

I have had outdoor buns before and mr hangry literally used to raise like 50-100 at a time (show buns) growing up. but I have never had a bun indoors.

Currently have a 15 lb cat, a block head and a mutt also

Β

any help?

hard pass on an indoor bunny. Might consider an outdoor space but yea inside unsupervised is a hell no XD

I have raised both inside and outdoor, Bunnies as indoor pets are nice and all if not left unsupervised. Outdoor buns are lovely, I live in a new area where it's not advised however, if it's indoor and been raised indoor it'll be hard to transition it since bunnies are easily stressed out. It might also be an issue with other animals...I had cats with indoor bunnies, you gotta be careful. But an outdoor space and treating it with love and making it comfortable should be fine! I wish you luck! :) I hope you show them when/if you get the bun!

One of my aunts used to have indoor bunnies! She had them when they were really young and litter box/piddle pad trained them somehow. She'd let them roam around her apartment all day, but kept them in a bunny cage at night or when she was away from her home. She hd a whole bunch of chew toys that'd you get from the pet store for them all around the floor, which kept them occupied instead of trying to knaw on the furniture and stuff. That's all I remember though! :(

I had a bunny during my middle & high school years, but he lived in a hutch outside in the backyard. The only time he'd come indoors if it was going to be really cold out or super stormy. He hated it. Loved when we would take him out of the hutch and roam around the backyard though. We never left him unattended since there were quite a few families of hawks living around the house.

So I'm not very helpful, but excited for you guys! The kiddos will hopefully love it! :D
