Upgrade Rant

So I'm really not happy with the economics on this game. The prices of upgrades are going through the roof. $100mil for a 1 month upgrade? Really? And it seems like people are paying less and less for horse/dog shows and tickets and even graphic prices are dropping for a lot of players (or if the prices aren't propping, the amount of buyers do). So the ways in which the upgrade-buyers make money (tickets, shows, graphics) are dropping in price, while the upgrade prices skyrocket. I'm really quite tired of it... -end rant-

Well, the upgrade prices are set by players. They can only go as high as people are willing to pay for them. |

Yeah I know. It's just frustrating how those are getting so expensive and how people are paying less and less for shows and tickets... |

It's supply and demand. I think it's always going to be fluctuating. |

I understand how it works; I'm just saying that it's getting frustrating to the point where I don't even want to bother getting upgrades because they're so expensive. It used to be really beneficial, monetarily, because what you spend on an upgrade you always made back on tickets and then some...now it's about equal. The only plus is the enter all. |

I agree with Shamus. It is rediculous i mean upgrades specialy the 1 month ones could go for 50 to 70 mill..Asking 100 mill for a 1 month is just outrageous cause you only get so much out of a 1 month... |

I know what you mean, I need a few upgrades, but to be honest, I don't mind paying 100mill for a 1 month as, the average price (last time I was buying) a 6 month was about 300mill, and they cost $15 to buy so $5 is a third of that etc.Less and less players seem to be selling them though, that's the problem I'm finding... I need about 3 or 4 right now, but they won't come easily :(I remember the day when 6 month upgrades were only 100mill, inflation sucks :( |

Any ideas for money sinks to drive inflation down? We're trying to put things in, but we need to take out about $3 billion from HP each money JUST to combat the money coming in each week from bank accounts. It's a constant discussion among mods, and a big concern of ours. Any ideas to get money out of circulation will be considered! |
