Another Breed Specialty question

Ok. so I know only 1 breed specialty per account. However, if I have an account I do not do any training on, change that to a breed specialty, transfer the animals to that account every week to train and then transfer back, will it result in the same point totals as if it was done on the page itself? I ask because I have 2 horse breeds on one page and do not want to put them on another account. |

I've not tried it, so I'm not sure...you could test it out though! |

I've trained animals on an account before and moved them and they still showed that they used 80 energy even on the account with a different breed specialty set. |

Thanks all. I made one of my other accounts the breed speciality and just transfer back and forth once a week lol. Now I have another question. I have 4 upgraded accounts to do double shows on for the horses. I have 4 horses of each breed. Should I do all 8 horses together in one show, hence 4 shows for 8 horses. Or should I do 2 shows for per breed? So that would be 2 for Weilks and 2 for Marms. Which would be better for points as horses don't seem to point up as fast as dogs. Luckily they retire at an older age. |

I'd put all horses in all shows. 8 horses in a show really isn't that bad. From what I've seen most people just don't allow more than 10-12 horses into one private show. |

Typically you get pretty interchangeable points with up to 10 horses in a privates. So I would put all 8 in them. |

Horses don't gain points as fast, but horses retire with more in the end.
But yeah, I tend to do up to 12 animals per private show, and notice no point difference. |

Ok so this is coming from Sam, although it was over a year ago (I was questioning her about point gains and stuff so I could put together some accurate calculators and training guides on my HP help site). Sam said that upgrades with breed specialty earn 1.5 times the points for the first ten places. All accounts (upgraded or basic) without breed specialty don't earn that bonus on the first ten places. So a breakdown of points earned on different account types looks like this: BASIC (with or without Breed Specialty), UPGRADE WITHOUT BREED SPECIALTY UPGRADED WITH BREED SPECIALTY All of this leads me to believe that if you move the horses off the upgraded account with the breed specialty, you'll lose out on those extra points. Those points would theoretically be assigned when the shows run and places are assigned to entrants. If the shows run and your horse is on a basic, or on an upgrade without breed specialty, you'll just receive normal points. None of this matters if the account you're training on isn't upgraded. Only upgrades receive the point bonuses for placing in shows. Basic players only get double entrance points if they have a breed specialty. And entrance points will not be affected if you switch accounts after entering shows. I'm gonna do some experimentation to figure out what's going on with 11th place haha. |

I have been doing this and transferring my other breeds over to my main account, I bought a store horse (breed specialty) and another not of my breed specialty and the breed specialty is almost 100k points ahead |

You can do breed specialty for one train them and then change it to the other breed. The the next day ( sunday) you train. you train that breed first then switch it back to other breed. I did this for awhile when I had dogs and horses on same account |

There is a 7 day wait period between changing your breed specialty. |

I mean, technically she's right, you can get away with two breeds on one account. Say this past Sunday I started breed A. Trained them for the week, cool. Sunday rolls around, energy resets, so I train breed A for the week. Then I switch my breed specialty to breed B, buy a bunch from the store (or wherever), and train them for the week. When the next Sunday comes I train breed B for the week before switching my specialty back to breed A and training them.
If that makes sense, lol |
