My dog Caldera https://horsephenomena.com/dogs.php?id=137340 has reached 1mil and is at the top of the young dog rankings, but has not gotten either achievement. I looked back and saw that this has been an issue for some other players' animals in the past and was hoping it was something that could be resolved for mine as well (:

Sometimes the Crons take forever to catch up and auto award things.
Def reach out to Blitz (#2049) if you notice any other achievement missing and she'll sort you all out.
That's part of her dealings with the backend of HP. :)

I noticed those kind of achievements take time to show, but they usually do within 24 hours :)

Mine are usually 24-48 hours (depending on what time I "acheived" something).

Just noting that there's something weird with the animal ranking achievements and I'm looking into it!

was about to comment that there was something off too; my project east euro shep reached the adult rankings a good while ago though i haven't seen him get his little ribbon for it yet! wasn't sure if it was just super slow or if something was wrong with it!

Thank you Blitz; I noticed one of my Morgans (I think the newest Glamfoal?) Had something not on it as well.

Yeah most of them don't seem to have awarded since the 1st. Once I'm done what other thing I'm working on for HP I'm going to run the cron manually to see what happens. I just can't focus on that super-serious thing at the same time as the other thing I'm in the middle of involving the HP Gallery.

idk if this is still an issue! but i've noticed that my EESD argonaut has not had any of the ribbons awarded to him yet. he's been in 2nd place on the top 25 adult dogs for a few weeks now. i think he might've briefly been in 1st place, and of course 3rd since he's now in second. it's been at least 2 weeks and he hasn't gotten the ribbons yet. couldn't remember if this issue had gone away or not or if it's just extra extra slow. but he only has about 1 week left before he is no longer an adult dog at all, so i wanted to check and make sure just in case.

It may still be an issue because Rhysand was 2nd in top young dogs on thursday and never received the award & now he's 3 so I don't think he'll get it q.q 

That happened with one of my horse audacity where he was second but only got third as by the time it was awarded as another horse bad moved up by then! But there's so much coding and automation that goes into these things I know it is tough to keep it all exact as it can very on what's working correctly or not. 

There is still wonky things happening with the Adult and Senior Rankings achievements, we're aware and we're working on it.

Young rankings should still be working as it's been separated from the rest. 

The animal rankings achievements award around 10pm every night game-time, and go based on what is on the rankings when they run. So if your dog hits the #2 on the young dog rankings at say 3pm but is back in the #3 spot by 10pm, then he or she will only get the #3 ranking.

As well, obviously once the weekly crons run and the majority of animals age on Sundays, there will be more additions to the rankings for the crons to consider, so there might be a day or two delay depending on the number of animals it has to consider, and if it times out before it can finish due to the volume.

I'm hoping that makes sense...

If your horse or dog does crack a higher ranking and you want to make sure you get your achievement, take a screenshot. If your animal hasn't received the ranking they should after 3-4 days, shoot me a polite message with the info and the screenshot and I'll award it manually.

I manually ran the young rankings achievement this morning so it's now up to date.

The Adult/Senior rankings still needs work and Sam will be looking at it this weekend.

Adult and All-time rankings aren't cooperating. Sam's still working at it when she's not super busy with work.

I've manually awarded the adult rankings to those animals that are aging off that list by tomorrow. Will continue to do that weekly until we know it's fixed.

I don't know if these were ever fixed but they still seem to be going very slow just on the rankings part :)

The adult horse and dog rankings majorly lag for reasons unknown. Like legit. I've struggled and tried everything, as has Sam, and we have no idea why it doesn't work properly. 

Interesting! I thought that might be it so I was trying to be patient. I do have a couple dogs who just aged off young dog and still didn't get their ranking, will it catch up even if they age off? If so I don't mind waiting!

If they're not currently on the list, probably not :/

Finally a positive update to this...

I've been working tonight on splitting the animal achievement cron to run each type of award (young dog, young horse, etc) as a separate cron. Both of the young ones now should be working and running on their own, twice a day every 12 hours. The adult horse and senior horse MIGHT be working as well. Still working on the dog, and I'm letting both of them and the adult/senior horse ones to run again tomorrow morning on their own to see what happens so I know what I still need to work on.

If you see animals with weird names or weird jumps in points on the rankings, they're testers and will be deleted once I have this sorted. I'm also about to use two of my own Appys to test the senior and adult rankings by giving them a point bump to get them on the rankings for the next cron...the points will be reversed once I see if it works!

Once I have those main animal achievement crons sorted, I'll look at the highest pointed of breed and All-Time Rankings and test them...they're low priority at the moment because those rankings don't change very often.

Also once EVERYTHING is working the way it should again, I'll make an official news post about it.
