How did you find HL?

I've always been kind of curious as to how people found Horseland since many of us used to play before coming to HP. I was looking up horses for sale back in 2006 or 2007 and found a link to it (in the "for the kids" section) on a barns website and the rest is history. What's your story?

my cousin had it, i think she probably found it on the horse forums she was always on. I was like, seven or eight i think? She'd made my brother an account for some reason, he didn't even like horses. So my mom and I made me an account. haha. |

i was at a summer horse camp and one of the gals told me about it. jeez that was in 2000!! so long ago, and boy was i addicted to that game!! #435630 on there if anyone remembers xD. |

My penpal told me about it in a letter one day. And (like Sam), I ended up being the one addicted to it. She fizzled out less than a year after I started. xD I believe it was 2004 when I started. 1868805. :P |

Back in 2001, a friend told me about it. I joined and we would always have competitions between us. She grew out of it, and I just kept going. I left in 2009 to come here at the advice of a friend I rped with (WhisperedLitany). :3  |

My mom was bedridden with cancer and I was her sole caretaker when I wasn't working so I spent a lot of time on the computer back in 2007. One Saturday, bored , I turned on tv and saw the show Horseland. Me being me, I wiki'd the show and saw a link to the game. I clicked on the link and it sounded interesting so I went and joined. All my old notes from when I first started I saved to my retirement and they are pretty amusing.KGPG, my brand, came from my name Kayla Gayle's Palomino's and Greyhounds. I quit HL after all the changes (and about a month or so after I was modded) but still keep up with my lines (of which I have an issue with HL but that's another story) |
