Other than one girl from Morbid who's an autopsy technician, none of them are involved in the subject in real life. I don't mind the dark humor, MFM has had me in stitches before, but some of them are just toeing a little too close to my own morality line when it comes to the victims themselves. That I don't agree with. MFM has even had me going 😬 a few times. BUT I did start Canadian True Crime and I really like the style of it - straight to the story, no BS, no banter, no skipping except for ads. |

I love Morbid, I enjoy the banter and lightheartedness. I totally understand what you mean though! I listened to MFM for a while but they got a little old, it felt like it was the same thing every time. I like how Morbid goes deep into the cases with the research and really explains from many angles, whereas MFM is not as in depth. I've heard great things about The Last Podcast on the Left - which is true crime, horror, paranormal. I plan to start that one next! Crime Junkie I did not love, I only listened to a few of them. Counter Clock had a REALLY GOOD season about the Prom Night Murders, which was an insane case. |
