I wanted to put together something to help the community here on HP. If you need prayer, if you're hurting, scared, or in the thick of the fight - the prayer group is here for you. Regardless of your faith or situation, if you need help - I will pray for you.

And I'd like to invite our other HP Christians to come join me.

Prayer: To submit a prayer request - fill out this form. You can choose to be anonymous, as well as whether or not you'd like your request posted here, privately messaged to other group members, or kept just between you and me. You can also reply to this thread with a request.

Fellowship: In addition to a prayer group, this is also a space for HP's believers to gather and have fellowship with each other. These are tough times, and it can feel like we're alone in the battlefield more often then not - especially in online communities. HP is a wonderful and welcoming place, and I'd love to meet my brothers and sisters in Christ here!

To become an official member: Send me a message! Please include whether or not you'd like your membership to be shared with other members. I'm not going to post a list here on HP, but I will share it among other members upon request; if you would like to keep your membership private, your name will be kept off the list.

Joining the prayer group means you will receive messages with prayer requests as they are submitted (and if the requester agrees to have their request shared). You can join to receive these messages and help pray for anyone who needs it.

You do not have to become a member to pray for any of the public requests below!
Prayer is between you, Jesus, and God. Who and what you choose to pray for are completely up to you!

Mango's Faith: I'm a non-denominational Christian, so that's how I pray and interact with others. All are welcome, all are loved! I witness through example - sharing God and Christ's love by loving others. There is no judgement here. If you have questions or are interested in my faith, please don't hesitate to message me!

Mango: Prayers for Arduous. Pray that God reminds her that He is always with her, and there is no one better to care for her and entrust her worries to. Remind her to trust in God and He will provide for her everything she needs. Pray that she find strength to get through her loss. That she knows that her mother is at Jesus' side now, in peace and unimagineable joy.

Also, please pray for my mom. Covid is hitting her the hardest out of everyone in the family. Please pray for her healing and comfort through this. I'd also ask you to pray for my aunt who was diagnosed with colon cancer that has metastazised to her lungs and lymphnodes. Healing and comfort for her would be so appreciated. Above all things, God's will be done. Please pray for peace and strength through their struggles.

Awd: "My dad went into cardiac arrest last Wednesday. He is still in a coma and the prognosis is not promising. Please pray for Peace & Comfort for my dad. I worry about it what he’s feeling. What he’s thinking. Pray for my brother and I. We are 23 & 27 respectively (way too young to lose our dad!!). Pray for my step mom who gave my dad the best possible chance by performing CPR. Pray for my Nana who should not have to bury her son. And THANK the Lord for the promise of salvation! I would be completely broken with it!"

This is an AWESOME idea; and fully support this. I believe this country needs this... Especially now. I will be praying and continue to pray for ALL of our servicemembers who are still trapped in Kabul, and our allies there as well. Please keep in mind our veterans as well, as I am sure they are struggling with this situation and could possibly be feeling "guilt" over the whole situation. 

I am going to send a form to you now for prayer requests (private matters). I love the private option! I think this is awesome even if you are not Christian. Like yourself, I am a non-denominational Christian. I love the little badges that can be displayed on pages! Also, I am 100% to becoming a member! So there is that!

I pray for everyone involved over in Afghanistan, from any denomination, race or kind. Its horrendous and the Afghani people are such kind and generous souls.

Yes. Many prayers. It is so sad what is going on over there. God be with them. And peace gets restored over in Afghanistan. God listens to all our prayers. So the more praying the better. The Americans over there please God protect them and bring them home to safety too!!

Definitely keeping Afghanistan in my prayers. I feel so sad for the people there and my heart hurts for the Christians and others who are being harmed. Will definitely pray for all servicemembers too, to add to Dakiti's point! Both abroad and trapped there and here too, because I'm sure that this is so upsetting to watch for them. 

I appreciate the prayer group a lot! I love this idea.

I grew up Pentecostal. But I married a Baptist man so I started going to a Baptist church 8 years ago. But the church we've been attending since we got married just switched over to categorize themself as non-denominational.

We've got a couple new prayer requests! God bless everyone for your prayers, and for the courage to ask for prayer ❤

Personally, I'm not religious at all. But with that being said. 

I found out today that some old friends of mine and my husbands, the wife was hit by a car on her way to work this morning and died on the scene. So if anyone is of the praying type, pray for her husband and family. I can't even imagine the pain that they're feeling tonight.

Bump for anyone who needs it. BTW, did you know prayer is a proven source of relaxation and stress relief?

I'm on my way to work but I needed to put out this request as soon as possible. My aunt has been undergoing chemotherapy for the better part of a year for late-stage colon cancer. Unfortunately, she's started rejecting the treatments lately, and the doctors are pretty much convinced that her cancer has metastasized all over her body. She goes in for an MRI on Monday morning to determine if the chemo has done anything to help and they should therefore pursue it - or if they need to stop all treatment to focus on her comfort.

Prayers for healing, patience, comfort, and faith for her and the family would be much appreciated.
