Not sure if this has already been discussed, but why did you choose your breed?

I'll start: I decided to raise thoroughbreds because of a movie depicting racing horses. Instantly fell in love with the breed.

Highlands because my favourite boy is a dun highland :) 

Dobermans because they have always been my favourite breed of dog, and I own one in real life!

Labradors because I have Labs in RL, and Curly Coated Retrievers because my dad and I used to breed them when I was younger :)

Quarter Ponies: was my first breed on hp, did them since hl

Paints: i have one on real life

Andies: bought a foal from trons amazing alaska lines

Barack Pintos: partnership..altho now theyre all mine

Peggies: partnership

Thoresians: partnership

Percherons: are currently being raffled off

In the past ive done aqhs and minis

Upon reccomendation of Tron :) 

I am assuming Andalusians Atra??? :P

I breed Andalusians as they are my favorite breed, and I intend on owning a couple once we finally get our land.  There is a nice local breeder. ☺

Currently I do Akhal-Tekes because I am stunned about their history throught time... :)

Appys I do because my fave horse at my old barn (Xerox!) is an Appy. AND I used to drool over Adranth's on HL...

Golden Retrievers because, until last month, I owned one.

Haflingers because my current barn has 3 and they are an AWESOME and gorgeous breed!

Donkeys because they are cute and I want one someday.

Vanners because they're pretty

TBs because I LOVE TB Racing.

Quarabs because my old fave horse at the same barn as Xerox (Sisko!) was a Quarab, then he died :(

Clydesdales because of the Buddweiser commericals :P

Canablitzes because I created them :P

New Zealand Warmbloods because of Whynn

and most of the rest of my breeds because someone was selling them at the time and I didn't want them to rot and now I'm attached to them :P

Jack Russells: I used to own one, years ago. His name was Toby and he was black, tan and white. He used to run away a lot and got into fights. He also used to love chasing a football.

German Shepherds: I just love the breed. When I was a kid, a neighbour had one called Copa (from Copacabana) and another neighbour's son's family had one called Flint. 

Shire: I have always adored the heavy breeds over the others. I dream of meeting a Shire for real, but until then, I content myself with my pixel horses. On Horseland, I had an amazing line of Shires, which sadly got broken. 

Labradors: a lovely breed. My dad's late uncle George had one called Shane. My late dog, Velvet, looked like a black lab but had a huge white chest patch and her mum was a golden retriever. lol

Selle Francais: Because of Merkavich. And because the first pair I got were going cheap with good points. 

Argentine Polo Ponies: Becaue I used to breed Polo Ponies in the past. Then started a pair when the Argies were added.

Barock Pinto: I saw a pair going cheapo and they had good points. 

Australian Cattle Dogs: They're cute.

Dire Wolves: Game of Thrones.

Bluetick Coonhounds: Andrze was giving pups away. Pups had great points.

Boerboels: Because South Africa.

Titanic Terrier: I invented them!

I chose Labrador Retrievers because they are my favorite breed of dog and I am getting a puppy in October (:

Kiger Mustangs: I love the breed & wanted to start a small herd

Argentine polo ponies: started them as a partnership, but have grown to really like the breed (:

Bashkir curlies: they are so cute!! & are rare..I love rare breeds!

I've just began Rhodesian Ridgebacks again. I choose them because I bred them for 3 years on HL and was pretty much known for them, it feels weird to not be breeding them haha

Crossbreeds...because I like so many breeds and when I joined HP, I couldn't pick one, so I just went with corssbreeds! Now I have 5 million accounts, though....haha

Polish Arabian- started them on HL. Came to HP and wanted to do a less popular type of Arabian so chose to stick with the Pol. Last time i checked, I was the only breeder

Alaskan Malamute- again, started on HL. And they are so pretty. Wish I could get one some day :-P

Gypsy Vanners- HL original. love colored breeds. and their feathering, and flowing mane/tails top the cake :D

Chow Chows- had them on HL at one point. do we see a pattern here haha? I used to own one several years ago but he was hit by a car and had to be put to sleep. and I also think they are gorgeous (well, most of them. some are just ugly lol). Got the breed added to HP in memory of him

Trakehners - I bred them on HL and they're one of my favourite breeds IRL although I've never met one and probably couldn't ride one side of one if I did.

Thoroughbreds - wanted to do a popular breed where lines are shared, backups are sold etc. I ended up buying a tonne from the HA

Belgian Warmbloods/New Forest Ponies - started them to help a players get them added.

Marwaris/Hackney Ponies/Morgans/Paints - all started because I found pairs/groups in the HA and felt sorry for them.

Irish Sport Horses - mostly because I loooove Misa's lines, and also because they're slightly more popular on here than some other breeds

Clydesdales - I used to be parterned with Onlaki before my hiatus and found a bunch of her Clydes in the HA when she quit, so I bought them so her training wouldn't go to waste.

Highland Ponies - Love them in real life and ride a few, plus yay Scotland! 

Norikers - used to love the look of them when I was little

Wurttembergers - I think I originally started them in 2012 because they were a pretty rare breed then, and they just got readded :D

Morgans because the best and most memorable horse that I ever owned was a Morgsan - Stubb.  I've bred them on every horse related game that I have ever played, and when I joined I decided I had to breed them here, as well.

Moreisians because I was training Stubb and wanted a variety of babies for him, and they are flippin' gorgeous!  Same goes for Morabs.

Arabians because I have owned a few IRL and they are magnificent, gorgeous creatures.  Incredibly intelligent too.

Pegasi because... Hercules movie.

Friesians because of two reasons - one to create foundation for my Moreisians and two, Xotik was having me watch hers and I wanted some of them for myself.  >:{

Labrador Retrievers because of my doggies, Choco, who passed away ages ago.  She was a gorgeous lab cross and I miss her very much.

Wolves because they are my favourite animal in the world.

Great Danes and Unicorns because Blackfire MADE me.  Soppinaro was selling the Danes, and somehow BF convinced me to partner up with her on them.  And then Moorf was selling Unicorns and we thought hey~ the Danes are going well, lets add a second breed.  BUT then BF left me.  *sobs hysterically*.  But I still have them.... 10 generations later!

Clydesdales are Trig's fault.

American Quarter Horses are what my family breeds.  So.  yeah.  True to ma roots and all that.

Rottweilers are because I've always loved them.  We've owned a few and Dozer the dummy is part Rottie so yes.  I have Rotties.

Thoresians seem cool.  Still on the fence about them.  I blame Aza and Whynn.

New Zealand Warmbloods - Because I love Lord of the Rings/Hobbit so I wanted to do something 'Middle Earth' themed 

French Bulldogs - partnership - we just decided to do them! 

Thoresians - because Blue made them look AWESOME! 

BERGERS! (Wurttembergers) - because they are beautiful and elegant and since I own the WB association, I wanted to take on another warmblood breed :) also, it is a partmership with the wonderful Tronyypants 

Beagles - I have 2 in real life!

Holsteiners - Just a random breed I started

Standardbreds - Mainly because I live right near Lindy Farms of Somers, CT.. They own some of the top Standardbreds in the world! (I think!) A few years ago, I had the opportunity to meet the famous "Moni Maker", thought it was soo cool!

Paints - Because they are pretty! Ha...

Dogo Argentinos - They are my favorite breed in RL and I plan on owning one, one day. I bred them on here a few years back.

Abaco Barbs } literally wanted something that I could have the highest pointed and they were easy. The more I researched them the more I've come to love the breed though. 

Shih Tzus } I own one and she's my life.

Pyrenees } I also own one and have always thought the breed was beautiful.

Nova Scotia Duck Toller Retriever } CopperMomments and willow wanted to start so we all did together. Now I just continue on by myself.
