Ok so my sisters accout won't keep her login in for her mind craft game stuff. So we use my phone to log her bk in but now when re try to put the code in it wants me to down load some vpn app. My uncle who works with softwhere programs says not to down load it. Problem is I think she clicked the link trying to get out of it. The x / close butten is very tiny. Is this doing it to anyone else ? And anyone have any clue how to get the pop up to stop ? It only happens in the Microsoft reset pageΒ

So there's a massively dangerous weakness that was recently leaked in Java, which is what Minecraft uses to run. I don't know all the specifics, but essentially, it's super dangerous to run Java/Minecraft on your PCs right now until it's patched, because hackers can exploit it super easily to plant viruses into any and all computers that run Java. If you haven't already, I would recommend installing your own VPN (do NOT click anything that comes from a pop-up. Look at Nord VPN or actual VPN products), and anti-virus/anti-malware software.Β

For the time being, I don't know about any solutions or patches for the Java leak. It's possible Mojang is trying to nudge people in the right direction for making it safe to play Minecraft, but I would do some more research before trying to launch/play it.

Mango, Where did you get that information? I am currently looking for it out of curiousity and cannot locate it.
