I'M TORN BETWEEN IDEAS

I wanted to check with my Epic Questers on what you guys would prefer for the story this year! I had one original idea that might be difficult to pull off, and then another... slightly more humorous one. You guys are the ones who will be participating, so I think you deserve a say!

The humorous idea - that I will have loads of fun with and will most definitely be enjoyable for most everybody:
A Harry Potter satire. Imagine, if you will... Headmaster Bumblebore. The four houses: Hero, Villain, Sidekick, and Civilian. An immortal evil by the name of Moldywart. Pursue your magical education at Swinetoots School of Slacking Safety (also known as Swinetoots Academy of Student Endangerment) and participate in iconic events such as the Teen Angst Ball, Plot Twist Tournament, and annual Supervillain Showdown - all while navigating the throughly predictable terrain of your classic coming-of-age tale.

The original idea - without giving too much away:
Set in a grand but isolated estate in the Scottish highlands. Late 1800s. Murder mystery. Magic (maybe). I have never written a mystery before so.. this one's a risk xD But it will include a colorful cast of NPCs - rather like the original Epic Quest. And one of you may or may not be the murderer!

So - which experience would you prefer? Lemme know!

Either way, the Epic Quest will return on Feb. 20th!

I came back after Epic Quest started but I'm chipping in an opinion anyway since I want to partake this year! The Scottish idea is the one I'm liking the most!
