After 8 years without a dog, we finally decided to add a dog to the household in December. I've always wanted some sort of herding breed, dream being a Border Collie, so when I came across Piper's listing I knew we had to meet her. She's super sweet, very cuddly, and I'd like to say she's smart, but with as many times as she hits her head I'm not so sure. She'll be one on St. Patrick's Day and I'm already trying to convince my husband or my mom to get her a puppy for her birthday because the cats LOATHE her. She wants to play with them so bad.

Oh she's just gorgeous! As a fellow collie owner, I may be a tiiiiiny bit biased, but they really are the best.

Cackling at the photo of her sulking next to the cat, though; she definitely needs a puppy playmate!

Pictured cat is going to be 17 in April. He is so very tolerant, but so very oldddddd and so very over her antics. She lived with 3 dogs until I got her so she's not used to having nobody to play with. She's hoping to one day win one of the cats over. Thus far they don't like being barked at.

She is so very very cute.

I vote get her a friend - but also 2X pupper crazy can be a LOT.

A playmate will depend on how finances work out in the next few months. Who knew buying a large 131 year old house was expensive and would have high utility bills in the winter. xD

But we're thinking come springtime we'll be looking into a friend. So fingers crossed!
