What we require for you to become a teacher:

1. Do you do graphics? Show us an example

2. Will you be posting tutorial pictures(like the ones you can find on DA) or hosting a streaming class on discord?

3. Do you want to have individual students you work one on one with?

You want to become a student? Even easier

1. Check this thread regularly for tutorials posted!

2. Sign up for discord times, if you see a teacher you really want to learn from post a streaming class, just send an "I'll be there" or some variation of that so we can get a better idea of class sizes etc

3.If you're interested in a more in-depth one-on-one class please let us know in this thread so we can get you set up with a teacher, if no one is available for one on one classes we will put you on a waitlist!

Bonus Points: how us some of your work so we can see you improve!

PS: You can be both student and teacher!(example: I know I have some info that's new and helpful for newer-mid level designers but I can still learn so much from the more advanced-expert level designers so I will be both student and teacher)

I'm in on this. I can't stream live due to my computer being sluggish but I'm happy to create image tutorials. I will work with groups or individuals. For recent work bear with me as I am just getting back into the swing of things.

I would love to be a teacher! :) My plans would be to help you (the student) grow as an artist and also to be able and to feel confident in what it is that you maybe creating! (: I'd be willing to stream and do lessons (either one on one or in a group) on discord and I'd also be willing to make little tutorials as well! :) 

As a teacher, the first thing that I would teach would be "how to find stock" so this means finding stock that I'm wanting/planning to use in my manipulation. 

I don't have discord, but I'd be down to see tutorials from other players. I'd ever do some tutorials if they're wanted too. 

I love the idea of this in terms of encouraging more engagement in the community; Ephe's discord, as mentioned above, is great for this as well.

I'm crazy busy currently preparing for some exams in the next few weeks and I'm not sure whether I'll have much time to offer lessons following that (though I will look into it for 1-to-1 lessons).

If there are specific topics that people would like covered in tutorials, we could compile a list and those who are happy to put together tutorials can choose which areas they feel strongest in? Yeah, there are a ton of tuts on DA, buuut there's always room for more.

Exactly uta! There are tons of tutorials on DA BUT you dont get to ask questions and get some feedback on how you did trying the tutorials when you use the DA ones. ^.^

As a start to the suggestions -

"one thing I'm hoping to see some tutorials or streams on is..." digital painting. I struggle with making my digital paintings look more 3-D and less like a flat 2-D painting/drawing. 

Ok everyone! Time to start putting some more focus on this, I know we've all gotten a bit distracted by thee mascot contest and I know I'm guilty of this myself (ps: Jack-boo for dog no tix/shows mascot!)

So first step is that I will be deciding on a day/evening that I will have a discord stream for anyone interested!

Which works better for more people:

Wednesday or Thursday

Evening(after 8pm HP time) or Afternoon (around 2/3pm HP time)

I'm probably not best at digital painting as I'm still muddling around myself but I can do something else? :D

Man, I wish I could do tutorials again. I was occasionally a teacher for the graphics school and I do miss it. Maybe one day if I ever get a working tablet again. 

I'd love to do this! (As a student.) I've been doing graphics for a while but always feel like stuff like this helps expand one's creativity by seeing inside other styles, or maybe even easier ways to do something.

Not this directly, but if you check out this thread https://horsephenomena.com/viewpost.php?id=269028 then you'll see that Mako and I have recently (literally within the last week) started putting out tutorials. There aren't loads up at the moment but we're adding to them as time goes on (I'm aiming for 2-3 per week atm). If you're wanting lessons then it might not be what you're looking for (we just don't have the time to be doing formal lessons for people, unfortunately), but I figured it was worth mentioning. :)
