THIS MONTH'S THEMES: Renewal, luck

It does not have to fit both themes, just one or the other. However, I'll be giving you a prompt for each theme!

FIRST: Pick a sentence and fill in the blanks.

I feel refreshed when ____.
____ makes me feel lucky.

SECOND: Go take a picture of whatever you filled in the blank with! If it's a feeling or something intangible, take a picture that represents it in some way, either by emotion or correlation.

THE RULES

- The picture must be taken by you.
- One picture per player.
- The picture must be on theme and follow the prompt.
- The picture must be HP appropriate.

THE DATES

- Entrees are accepted March 2nd to 23rd
- Voting will be open March 24th to 30th
- Winners announced ~March 31st!

Seeing old photos of my first OTTB (Celadon aka Sonny) makes me feel both so lucky to have been able to have a horse, and honored to have been able to save him. He had a harsh life at the tracks. After his accident, he was sent to slaughter. A friend of mine purchased him to give him as a present to my mom who had just recently lost her horse. She wasn't ready for another horse, so I wound up with him. We knew there was something wrong with him - called the vet out and the diagnosis was wobblers syndrome and was advised to put him down. I didn't want to put him down, instead we built up his strength in his back legs. Over the years, he became my BEST friend and finally passed in 2015. I miss him so much. But looking back at the old photos I have of him, bring back all the wonderful memories I've had growing up with him.

I feel renewed when my husband cooks and bakes. Having a husband who does this makes me feel lucky. He cooks (amazingly I'll add), he cleans, he's an amazing dad, and he's handsome to boot. What more could a girl want?

When I hop on my mare I feel lucky.

She has her quirks but I adore her. I love to goof around and slip her bridle off and lope around, when I was 14 years old I dreamed of having a horse like her. I wouldn't trade her for anything! Everyone meet my Diva.

I feel refreshed when I am out in nature.
