Having binged 1883 I am now on to Yellowstone.

I'm currently on S01E01, and have just had a "Wat?" moment.

John Dutton and his son Kayce had to help a cow who was struggling with a breech birth. John held the cow's head down and Kayce managed to pull the calf out then John let the cow get up.

She ran off. 

Her calf jumped up and ran the opposite direction, then ran after its mom. It had gone from newborn to a few months old in the blink of an eye.
