I haven't posted photos of them in a long while. (well, a long time for me)
In an odd turn of events, Fred, the retired 17 year old is the one galloping around playing in the heat, and Catt is napping. It has been in the high 90s/low 100s here for the past few weeks and it is killer. I was in Ireland from the 12th-24th of August where it was 60-65 every day, and this heat back home is intense. x.x
Galloping old man. (you're supposed to be lame! what are you doing?!)
I have no idea how he got that weird muck on his back legs, and I'm afraid to ask what exactly it is.
Freddy and the cows.
And now lazy Catt who likes to nap super close to the rails to make me nervous he's going to get caught or cast.
Butt. This shows off his little cow head/devil horn (depending on the day) he has on his left side.
He wasn't doing anything so I went over to take photos of another horse who was playing. I turned around and saw him giving me this very pathetic face. "Hey! Notice me darn it!"
Catt and I are supposed to show next weekend. I decided I was going to take him to the show for sure on Friday. So, of course, when I rode him Saturday, he was the worst he's been for about two years. He tried to tell me he forgot how to bend right, do even simple changes, stop without taking like four trot strides first (he's going in a reining show!!), and even how to back up. Like really buddy? He better shape up!! We worked cows today and he was a star, so I'm hoping that cleared his head and gives him more work ethic. He loves working cows, and when he gets to work them, he is usually in a good mood for a while after. Cross your fingers for Saturday! haha

thank you guys! As it turns out, I don't think I am going to show this weekend. :(
I have a terrible head cold and doing anything physical for more than half an hour (by physical i mean trying to get groceries, haha) I get dizzy and feel horrible. I will have to wait until next season to show I guess. :( Oh well. The goal this weekend was just to get a score, so it isn't as if this is for the championship or anything.
But here are some photos from Labor Day. In the most irresponsible thing I've ever done catagory! I took a photo of the horses loping in front of me and catt, while I was loping on catt. Gotta love one handed horses and wide angle lenses!
