......HP Questions......
1. How did you first learn about us?
I honestly don't recall. It's been too long!

2. What is your favorite thing about HP?
The community, hands down. I have made some of my best friends on this game - people who I talk to every day. And I love how everyone is always there for one another.

3. How long have you been playing for?
Eleven....years?

4. How did you come up with your player name?
My real name is Daneka, so the "neke" is from that. My friends in high school made it up - teachers were always mispronouncing my name as Da-KNEE-KA, not Dah-neh-ka. It sort of stuck! I also used to go by Dunk, which... same sort of thing, haha.

5. What is your favorite breed of horse or dog to train?
Morgans ;)

6. What caused you to pick the breed(s) you train and breed?
Oof. When I was a kid my Auntie had this proud-cut Morgan cross gelding that she used for endurance rides in the mountains, and something about him fascinated me. I think every single visit to her house I would beg to ride him (even having my own horses at home did not deter this). Then we moved closer to my Auntie, and she sold said gelding to my father - who learned promptly that his daughter had won the geldings heart, and vice versa. He remained my dad's horse in name, but he was my horse. He had so much personality - I could go on for hours with stories of him. I was, and to this day, love that jerk of a horse. His name was Stubb.

7. How do you come up with names for your animals?
It depends on the breed! My main has Morgans, which I have different dividers with naming schemes - though much of them are nerdy quotes or books. My other breeders vary - some are based on names from where the animals originate, some are in the style of the breed (like the QH). I have so many breeds that it does vary.

8. What are your current goals on HP?
Honestly, after having top horse (twice), I am a bit aimless right now. I am considering top dog!

9. Do you have a favorite animal? (It can be your own or another player’s you admire!)

10. Who’s your go-to graphic artist or coder? Are there any services you offer?
Uta is my go-to for pictures! Coding I am always at a loss.
I used to offer digital paintings and manips, but unfortunately I am far too busy these days.

11. What is your favorite Site-Wide yearly event?
I love the forum contest!

12. What other contests or activities do you usually participate in?
Chatline, bingo when I can, and I try to do the Mascot (but fail every year - it falls when my work is insanely busy!)
13. Do you have any training or breeding tips to share?

14. Which seasonal layout art is your favorite?
I love Autumn!

15. If you could change one thing about HP, what would it be and why?
IDK how to answer, SKIP

16. What do you spend most of your time on HP doing?
People would assume training, but chatting is my big thing. I always have chat open at work, and I love talking to people!

......Real Life & Random Questions......
1. Where are you from?
I am from Northern British Columbia, in Canada. We moved all over, so the whole North is me!

2. Does your place of residence have any sort of quirky history fact or legend/tradition, and if so, what is it?
Haha! We live at the start of the World Famous Alaska Highway!

3. What do you do for work?
I am a Parts Technician and Branch Manager for Gas Compression.
(I sell parts and do the organizing to fix huge engines along gas pipelines)

4. Do you own any horses or dogs?
I own 5 horse (Jane, Roxie, Honey, Drift, and Goldie), 2 pregnant, 2 unconfirmed but exposed, and 2 dogs (Link and Tank).

5. Do you have any other types of pets at home?
We have a barn cat named Bob.

6. What are your favorite breeds of horse and dog?
My favourite horse breed is the American Quarter Horse.
My favourite dog breed is the English Mastiff.

7. Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?
Oh man, we do not have this much time. I have ADHD so I hyperfixate and then move on, but the ones I stick with are like... art. I think I show my weird mixed media art to everyone, I love it so much. I also write quite a bit, and am an avid Pokemon gamer!

8. What’s your favorite color?
Teal.

9. What’s your favorite Holiday or Month?
THIS IS HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY MAKE A SCEEEEENE.

10. Do you have a favorite vacation spot? If so, what or where is it?
Fort Liard Hot Springs. It's about 8 hours north of me, and it is a beautiful natural hot spring camping spot in a Provincial park. I love it there.

11. Do you have any special talents? If so, what are they?
SKIP

12. If you could own any breed of horse, what would it be and why?
I really REALLY want a team of Fjords! Because they are so wicked cool looking, and so hardy and so sweet and I can pull a sleigh!

13. If you could own any breed of dog, what would it be and why?
English Mastiffs for life. They are big sweethearts, who just want cuddles.

14. If you could meet any celebrity, who would it be and why?
I have actually met a whole slew of celebrities, because I go to comic book expos. But I would absolutely love to meet Tom Hiddleston, and have him sign my painting of Loki I am working on.

15. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Think of me like a hobbit - I like home best.

16. What would be your dream job?
Owning and Operating a horse breeding farm - OH HEY WAIT I AM DOING THAT!

17. What would be your dream meal of choice?
Tomato soup & cheese and crackers.

18. What is the top thing on your Bucket List?
Jumping out of an airplane.
I am terrified of heights.
I have tried and not gone 3 times so far!

19. What talent do you wish you had?
Singing. My voice is the WORST when I sing - I really wish I could because I love music. But I am truly awful.

20. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Maple Walnut.

21. What is something you fear?
Heights, with a crippling level

22. What’s the funniest joke you heard recently?

I am currently re-reading Lord of the Rings. I am on the Two Towers!

I just saw Black Widow. Not for the first time, but I am obsessed.

Grey's Anatomy or any Marvel movie/show.
