Gah, Black Beauty was absolutley my favorite book as a child (:The Pony Pals books and Thoroughbred Series were good ones for a younger audience. |

Growing up, I loved reading horse books! (and on occasion, I'll go back and read them now :P) I've read most of Marguerite Henry's books (Misty of Chincoteague, Justin Morgan Had a Horse, King of the Wind, etc.), Black Beauty, The Pony Pals series, the Thoroughbred Series, The Saddle Club series, the Heartland series, and the High Hurdles series. There are plenty of others that I've read, I just can't remember them all! |

Omg i looovvveee the heartland books! < 3 i saw one in hastings yesterday called the eighty dollar champion and it sounded good. Anyone ever read it? And i know you asked about horse booksbut just sayin' best dog books ever - hank the cow dog! XD |

The Black Stallion Series, Thoroughbred Series, and Heartland, and Chestnut Hill. Almost all of them lol. |
