......HP Questions......
1. How did you first learn about us?
Back on HL when things were going downhill, I hadn’t actively played for a while but would log on to see what was up and started noticing player’s names with something like “Gone….find me at Horse Phenomena” and I’m like well, I better check this out…and the rest is history! xD

2. What is your favorite thing about HP?
The community. I’ve made so many long term friends over the years. People irl look at me weird when I talk about my “online friends” but iykyk, right??! xD

3. How long have you been playing for?
My account says I joined in Feb 2010 but I started actively playing and breeding my MFT’s in Sept of 2011.

4. How did you come up with your player name?
So, I love cats, if you didn’t already know that about me. And actually on HL there was someone who went by the name Panthera (eventually switched their name to Embla….) and I thought that was such an awesome name. On HL I was P.uma and then Onca and then once I switched over here, I first checked to make sure the old Panthera wasn’t here before I added it to the first part of my name. Panthera Onca is the latin name for a jaguar. “Pants” comes from someone referring to me as “Panth” in chat one day, and I said that sounds like someone saying “Pants” with a lisp. Tronic thought that was hilarious and it’s stuck ever since.

5. What is your favorite breed of horse or dog to train?
My Siberian Huskies!

6. What caused you to pick the breed(s) you train and breed?
I started MFT’s actually because my pen pal, who originally introduced me to HL back in the day, bred them at the time that I started HL. She eventually quit and did RL things with her RL horses and here I still am. xD Thanks, Sandi!!
My huskies I breed because of my RL doggo, Kaya.
The rest of my breeds are either because I find them awesome breeds I’d love to own in rl, and/or I just find joy in breeding them on here. :P

7. How do you come up with names for your animals?
I keep a running list on my phone notes haha. A lot of the time, I don’t start a new breed until I know I have a theme I can use for name. For instance, I only just started Knabs recently because I came up with a theme of cheesy foods. xD

8. What are your current goals on HP?
Someday I want to do a project MFT, which I just haven’t found the inspiration for yet. Also, another project Hoosker.

9. Do you have a favorite animal? (It can be your own or another player’s you admire!)
I am very proud of my Pintaloosa, Reining Diamonds, who started out as just an obscure project to get highest pointed Pintaloosa while tickets were selling stupid cheap. She ended up hitting 11 mill and sat on the All-Time rankings for a few weeks before getting bumped off lol. I honestly had not planned that at all from the start, so I am just super proud of her. ^^

10. Who’s your go-to graphic artist or coder? Are there any services you offer?
Ephe, Mako, Amberellie, and Uta for graphics. Mangooooo for all da coding!
I sell tickets lol

11. What is your favorite Site-Wide yearly event?
Double points month. xD And the Easter Egg hunt!

12. What other contests or activities do you usually participate in?
Forum post contest. Bingo….etc, etc.

13. Do you have any training or breeding tips to share?
I manual/hand train my favorite breeds, and I know everyone thinks I’m insane hahaha. But I find it is very much worth the effort. ;P

14. Which seasonal layout art is your favorite?
Probably the fall or winter. I spend my time in dark mode, so the only time I see it is on the login page. xD

15. If you could change one thing about HP, what would it be and why?
CATS. Cuz, CATS!!

16. What do you spend most of your time on HP doing?
Training and lurking.

17. What is your favorite Club?
Gaited and Working.

......Real Life & Random Questions......
1. Where are you from?
Minnesota

2. Does your place of residence have any sort of quirky history fact or legend/tradition, and if so, what is it?
My hometown is famous for capturing the Younger Brothers, when they and Jesse and Frank James split up after a failed robbery attempt earlier in another town.

3. What do you do for work?
I am a pre/post GI procedures registered nurse. I.E., I make sure people wake up ok after anesthesia from their colonoscopy procedure.

4. Do you own any horses or dogs?
I have a Siberian Husky, Kaya Marie.

5. Do you have any other types of pets at home?
13 cats. :P

6. What are your favorite breeds of horse and dog?
Paints, Appys, and Norwegian Fjords are my favorite horses irl. Huskies, Malamutes, and Berners are my favorite doggos.

7. Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?
I like reading, cooking, reading cookbooks xD, traveling, jet skiing, hiking, swimming, camping, snowmobiling, playing with my animals, playing piano and my ukulele.

8. What’s your favorite color?
Aqua

9. What’s your favorite Holiday or Month?
July and August are my favorite months, cuz JET SKIING. And Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.

10. Do you have a favorite vacation spot? If so, what or where is it?
I like traveling to new places all the time, but I’d definitely go back to Grand Teton or Yosemite again. Otherwise, there are a few state parks nearby that my mom and I love to go tent camping and rough it a bit over a campfire.

11. Do you have any special talents? If so, what are they?
I can flip a frying egg in a pan and usually get it to land back in the pan. xDDDDD

12. If you could own any breed of horse, what would it be and why?
A Paint or a Fjord, cuz they so perty!!

13. If you could own any breed of dog, what would it be and why?
A Bernese Mountain Dog. The price point compared to their lifespan just isn’t worth it to me to actually spend the money to get one, but they’re still so gorgeous!! Otherwise, I would love a Malamute or 3 and a few more sassy Hooskers.

14. If you could meet any celebrity, who would it be and why?
Hmmm, Guy Fieri? And only if he takes me to eat at all the places haha

15. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Norway, to see the fjords (the landscape – not the horse xD) or Egypt to see the pyramids and the sphinx.

16. What would be your dream job?
A cat photographer for Cat Fancy.

17. What would be your dream meal of choice?
A Chinese Buffet

18. What is the top thing on your Bucket List?
Norway

19. What talent do you wish you had?
Drawing

20. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Monster cookie or peanut butter

Tornadoes
