Would it be a wacky move to have a draft option for forum posts? My goldfish attention span doesn't always allow me to complete a forum post in one go (this one is a rare occurrence) and, rather than lose what I've done so far, it'd be so easy to just click 'save draft'. 

Yes yes yes! I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement but sometimes I'll be logged in at work & between calls and appts I'll be typing a post and then when I click post I'm logged out from the time limit xD

It would require a complete overhaul/re-coding of the forum, so I'm going to go with no :P

This is a very good idea. I, too, have a freaking goldfish brain and usually forget I have a window open and often close it out. I hate that it isn't an option. lol
