Hello, I am Two Roan Rancher! I joined yesterday night. So far I like this game ok.  I have a few questions.. how do I breed my animals? They have been taken care of, shown to earn points, are stabled/kenneled, and are old enough.

Also - how to I get better images for them? I don't want to pay ridiculous prices, and can not make very good images myself without spending tons of time (school and my 3 real life horses get that time)

Thank you! Feel free to call me Roan/Roanie. I will be raising purebred American Quarter Horses, and dogs that are crosses of Lab, Catahoula, and Border Collie, just like my real life dog.

In real life I do 4H. In fact I just got back from State Fair after earning a Purple Ribbon with the above said dog. I also ride/show horses. I have 3 of my own. One is a 15.2hh 13yr old American Paint Horse gelding, another is a 14.2hh 3yr old American Quarter Horse filly, and the newest edition is a (unknown height) 11yr old Pinto mare. I also show lambs, goats, poultry, rabbits, art, welding, photography.

She keeps hanging on, to the dream she's always known, for the glory, d*mn the pain, holds it all within them reins! She is country tough and there's no giving up, from her boots down to her precious latigo. Her heart is a rodeo!

I feel like you're super cool since I show in 4H as well in dogs, horses, poultry, photography  and art.

To to breed animals, go to the male's page and scroll down. There will be a drop down menu that you can pick a girl from and then click request breeding. Then go back to that same area and click accept on the female. Then you can go visit baby!

On the line next to where you put the URL for your picture is a link to horse Phenomena's  image bank. Those are all free and it's nice!!

I do not suggest breeding until they are 18/20 but everything duck said is correct (:

Typically, you want to try and get as many points on the animal as possible before breeding, because the pups/foals get a percentage of the parents' current points at the time of breeding.

Dogs retire at age 16 and horses retire at 21. Once they turn those ages, they are no longer able to be bred. The typical age to breed pups is when the parents are 15, and foals when the parents are 20, as this gives the parents the most amount of time to be entered into shows and gain as many points as possible. This way, you get as many points on your babies as possible! :)

I hope that helps a little bit!

Welcome to HP :).

I agree with everyone's answers so far, so I don't need to add anything!
