Just wanted to jump on and introduce myself, I am Amber, an early 2000's HL veteran who joined HP briefly in 2010 - and here I am back 12yrs later! I was known as Dancer on HL which I carried on here when I joined HP.

Have been lurking for a week or so now, trying to catch up on how everything works. 🙃 Would love to make some new HP friends as I'm not sure if any of my old buddies are still around 🤷‍♀️

Also not sure which horse breed I want to start with 🙈 any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Well hello there! Welcome c: While I don't recognize your name, we may have crossed paths, I was still semi-active around those years. But my player name was Arduous, aka Ardy. I changed over to Ris in the beginning of this year.

Andalusians, Paints, AQHs, Mustangs and Dutch Warmbloods are fairly common. And there's Appaloosas and Knabstruppers. Do you have a breed in RL that means something to you? A lot of players use their RL experiences with breeds to determine their breed on HP. Except for myself who randomly picked Straight Spanish Arabians 20yrs ago and now just sticks with them out of abandonment issues or some such thing rofl.... anyway I'm babbling something fierce soooo any who.... glad you're back!

As for horse breeds, I would say....... exmoor ponies ~ my main breed, warlanders, quarter ponies, zebras, donkeys, quarter horses, knabbstruppers, appaloosas, arabians, pegasus and I could go on and on.

For dog breeds, I would say...... australian shepherds, rottweilers, dalmations, golden retrievers, german shepherds.

Hey! Welcome back! I'm going to suggestion AQHs or Paints, or like ris said, is there any breed that means a lot to you? I'd go with that!

As for breed suggestions I'd recommend seeing who has embassy pairs or backups available to give you a jump on training!
